I love this opening then again I love all the OP openings and endings.

My favorite openings are:
Kokoro no Chizu- Hey this pretty much defined all the elements that made One Piece great!
Bon Voyage- I wish it premiered a bit earlier in Skypeia because it "fit" more with the feel of the overall arc than Hikari E did.
We Are!- Can't top the first opening, it is one of the better ones.
Believe/Brand New World- Pretty much tied in my mind. I do wish they used BNW for another 15 or so episodes before changing it.
Crazy Rainbow- Okay, just to clarify. Like the animation, like the song, but like others I do feel it was placed at a very awkward point. I really do think this OP was mainly created to reflect the time change as opposed to just have it "there". By all logic they could of kept BNW until the end of Enies Lobby. The most unique thing in the OP is how they handled the "One Piece" letters. Now THAT was cool.
Hikari E- Liked it. But it's last on the list because it's one OP I got sick of the quickest. All the other OP held there own musically so they didn't wear out their welcome (not even Believe) but this one got annoying after a few times.O-chan

This new one was a little less exciting, and some of the shots should have been shortened, but I like it because it's all a breakaway from the plot and there are very good strawhat scenes. (I'm glad there were no spoiler scenes like Franky.) I'm fine with it. :) The song is nice, too.
And the beginning with the scattered letters was weirdly cool. -

Maybe they're trying to use up a bit of air time with the intro, so less episode time, so more time for the manga to get ahead.?
I watched it. It was fun. I liked the whole fun, easy going theme. "crazy crazy rainbow star" being sung over and over got a tad annoying. The quality was a bit low. That could just be the video quality, or the recording quality. It was wierd that they had the going merry in it. Maybe it's a look back to fun times, before all the W7 drama started? Or, maybe Toie's trying not to spoil the new ship for us and didn't know what else to do?
I'm still trying to find this 1+6=4 shirt. anyone wanna give me a hint?

People here were expecting some action manga stuff like in OP5 & 6.

Why no spoilers? Surly nearly all the One Piece fans in Japan have read the latest manga chapters.
I was expecting to see Sogeking, Garp, Coby, Franky and Dragon in the new opening.

BNW simply sucked compared to the other openings, simple as that. But if I have to be less of an ass and be serious…
I say over there the song just wasn't liked that much or a lot of people complained about the spoilers, or both.

BLAHSPHAMY! Brand New World, at the least, beats this opening. The song just, in my opinion, fits One Piece's energetic vibe more.

This is probably the last opening we get with Merry sadly. I hope the next one will be a song with a Kokoro/Believe feeling, with some Rob Lucci vs Luffy and Gear 3rd in there. Recent manga stuff wont be in until Opening 9 probably.
I think Opening 7 will start around Chapter 420 in the manga, I cant imagine One Piece going too long without and Ending song.

I personally don't think any anime content should make it's way into the opening, imo that's what the actual anime is for, the opening is to look cool, give the credits, and promote a band, that is all.

I'm perfectly fine with spoilers. I think it might be funny but I think spoilers or something like that are somewhat cool. Rather than random stuff. But I like random stuff as well.
Like Hitsugaya vs. Ishida which never happened but was cool.

-the opening song always starts off with the going merry boat sailing in sea, then the strawhats appear etc...its getting redundantBut the good thing is that they are animating many colored spreads by Oda which is something I liked...
...then again they should'nt have replaced Brand New World with this song. BNW gave me an intense feeling of the enneis lobby arc and the fights of water seven!

God, this is really funny. When BNW first came out, everyone bitched. When BNW was still being used, people bitched cause it had spoilers and they skipped it anyways, now its gone and people bitching and saying "OMG!!!11 THATZ TWAS DA PUUURRECT ENDING HOW THEY GET RIID OF IT/?!!!111ONE".
Seriously. And yes, if you haven't noticed, with all the bitching aswell as the new handful of members we've gotten who aren't that great I've been getting in a bad mood…

The opening looks like it could be an opening for any portion of the anime since Robin joined, which I have no problem with, as I enjoy the song, so that's the end of that.

DAH hell was that? I like BNW better than this. Pretty long for a OP just seemed like it kept draggin on and on.
Here a theory about the pans with Shanks, Ace and Mihawk. I think it'll change during episodes, theres tons more other characters in OP why jsut show those 3?
I liked BNW for its catchy tunes and fast past rythem. Worked well with the fights.

I've said it before and I'll stick with it, the OPENING IS NOT THE SHOW, I know other people have said that too, and I agree with them. If you want the spoilers and action and fights either read the manga, or wait until the fights are shown on TV. The opening is for three things and three things only: TO LOOK GOOD, TO GIVE THE CREDITS, AND TO PROMOTE A BAND. THAT IS ALL.

Saw it just now and …its not bad. Song wise its great not as catchy as BNW but very in tune with the series and well sung. The opening however just lacked energy am sorry to say, it not because of spoilers, heck the first four openings proved that. It just that it doesn't really deliver a vibe that says "get ready to enjoy the show" which is vital to your viewing audience but hey thats my opinion don't jump on me for it. Still overall not bad.
Get nuts or go crazy trying.
