I don't think 8 were left….. 7 is the more likely number....
Throughout this month, we will be testing new features (like search) so you may experience some hiccups from time to time. We'll try to not be too disruptive...

it was 9 in the opening and there are only 8 ships remaining one destroyed by the navy when luffy and lucchi were aboard and one destroyed in thia current chapter
didnt frankys coup de vent blow sum marine ship down?
and Klaubterrman is goona appear
no it didn't but by what the marines said it could have
and kinda a side note anyone else think Spadam's dad looks a hell of alot cooler than him
thats because spandams dad looks JUST like franky, without the goofy chin…
After Enel finds cheese in the moon, I think the next mini-arc will be a story about Spandam getting plastic surgery and becoming a bishonen.
I still want Foxy vs. Kuro, though.
Just watch. Wiper will be inside the Going Merry and be like, "I'm coming with you guys. I still owe you for saving Shandra."
Hahahahaha good stuff here.
Actually, since it'd be kind of weird to see the SHs and co just "get" back to Water 7 after it taking a sub-arc the first time, I predict that a few things could happen:
1. The World government's response. The chaos at EL, Spandam's fate, the gourosei's reaction, with some omnious line as the SHs dock in Water 7 at the end of the chapter.
or…
2. Surprise! Someone's following the SHs on their way to Water 7! ...not as likely, but maybe.
or 3...the Sh talk about stuff that has happened on the way to Water 7.
Oh! Maybe the Going Merry will sink on the way to WAter 7, and the SHs jump on the sea train while waving goodbye...
Still itchin' to see the Usopp |+| Luffy conversation. They have a lot to say/fight about.
Also, looking at all that's happened…I'm kind of hoping that Usopp does not get a bounty. I mean, judging from what I big deal everyone made over him burning it, and that it's pretty much the only offense that the WG can admit to without shame or controversy, I'm having a feeling that Usopp, or more like Sogeking, is getting a bounty regardless.
But that would open the floodgates of hate if Soggeking gets a bounty and say, Sanji, not. Then again, I guess everyone could just get a bounty--each member did at least one noteworthy thing--like Nami summoned a stormcloud and toasted some marines. That sort of thing gets noticed.
Hey, since bounties might be coming up soon, does this post go in the bounty thread or not? :wassat:

I'll second that. Hardcore looking forward to their return. Lots of ground to cover.
one 1/2 days till spoiler
yeah, almost that time of the week for another mindless speculative debate on what Oda is thinking…..........I hope it's a shocker of a chapter.....

^^who would be so stupid to hate a fictional character for getting a bounty before another character? if anyone's to blame for anything it's oda.
i hope to see smoker in the next chapter reacting to el

When one of your enemies has the power to teleport, sneaking aboard a ship is pretty easy. Maybe Oda will finally use the Usopp/Kaku look-alike joke and have Kaku dress up like Sogeking to infiltrate the Mugiwara. Of course, since Usopp revealed himself, everyone would know it was Kaku (except Luffy and Chopper). It is an unlikely scenario, but it would definitely bring back some humor to the series after a particularly gloom and doom type of arc.
There must definitely be a send off for Going Merry and some sort of ceremonial transfer of the ram's head on the front of the ship, the Klabautermann, or something else just as symbolic.
maybe he brought the merry to el
I believe that Aokiji's motivations were three-fold:
