Throughout this month, we will be testing new features (like search) so you may experience some hiccups from time to time. We'll try to not be too disruptive...

yay for the start of the end.

14 stars only? they need more than just 14!
I really wouldn't be surprised if Luffy and Chopper go "OMG WHERE"S SOGEKIING!!!"
I'm hoping for an new storyline that is not shown before. I hope we see many more islands after this
Things that need to be done before this arc finishes:
…
5) Getting all the stuff that the SH's left behind in the hotel room( Nami's orange trees and her waver for example)
6) Perhaps some closing thoughts on Robin's flashback
7)Kabuto's secret defeating the remaining warships.
That chapter was made of awesome. Spandam's face was great, but I really thought good ol' Scarface's continuous "…" every chapter is pretty badass. Cluth and Coup de Vent took the cake outside of the V sign and then the last shot of Merry and the Mugiwara sailing away were awesome also.
Thanks for the chapter Battle Franky !!
Yay, at long least, it it finally ends .. in a complete defeat !!! (Cheap pun intended).
so will tey go back to W7 to leave kokoro? franky has to make their ship and luffy has to understand what a cool guy he is and chase him to join!
also i think spandam lied about aoikiji while he was there,he is so going to meet bellamy! and we will find out why he was given the BC!
and i can't wait for the next bounties! the two last times we saw kuro, whitebeard, blackbeard, the gorosei, the schichibukai so this time i hope we see the shanks-whitebeard meeting (also this would mean BB is the next villain)
if spandam was killed i think all the people would be satisfied and the whole killing and not killing would end happily!
(your sig suits the occasion kjls!)
Thanks BF und congrats Eneru!
Eneru is now officially awesome for being the first OP character to reach the moon via a wooden airship. In fact, the feats of survival in OP is so great that you won't even die without air on the moon! That is why OP owns every other series in terms of no deaths. Do you agree with me?
And at long last the arc is ending! We've been waiting 2 years for this!
oh yeah,thanks battle franky!
now wouldn't the atmosphere burn eneru's ship? let's see what the wacko will do now he's there!
claps for Eneru
You did it.. You really did it XD
And hoorah for the end of Enies Lobby!
Sanji/Zoro/Luffy's triple V-Sign was awesome!
The look on the VA's face on Pg 6 is priceless.
Thanks B-F.
Thanks first of all, BF…
Woah, that was a great chapter! I know the fate of the Merry (and the SHs) is probably still undetermined, but that was some tight teamwork and sailing, such as what sailors (or pirates) can be capable of! And the best parts: Robin finally shutting Spandam up once and for all...and the unexpected appearance of AoKiji at the very end acknowledging his failure (probably regarding Robin). Next week will probably determine whether the arc has a chapter or two left...or if the new arc will begin being hinted at? (besides, all their stuff is still in W7...and there's the matter of Kokoro, Chimney and Gonbe)
I believe we may see the VAs one more time to report about the failure of the Buster Call to Ao Kiji or other higher ranked officals. I got this gut feeling that Scarface will give a verbal smackdown to Spandam and CP9 in the future.
That was a nice closure chapter. Now on to better things.
Scarface looking at Spandam was priceless.
boah cool chapter! thx alot! ^^
now waiting for a scanlation ^^
Thanks BF!
I guess Kokoro guides them to Fish-man island next (as in next arc)…
Much thanks, BF. o.o/
Wow, there's just too much awesomeness in this chapter. Seriously. Like awesomeness overload. XD;
I doubt this is the total end of the arc, since they probably need to return to Water 7 first, but it seems they're at least past the danger and fights for now.
Con's:
1. Same old, same old.
And with OP, that's not necessarily a bad thing, right?
n1 BF! thx a lot ^^
So Sanji can geppou now, that's sweet.
Thanks BF!

Seems like a very sensible continuation. No doubt the Shichibukai will be there too - on the move to either 'check out' the Mugiwara gang or perhaps even on a mission get revenge on them for Enies Lobby (if they'll feel like it). Well, not just the Shichibukai, but the other leading pirate gangs should want to at least exchange greetings with this newcomer team that managed to make it into the big league… Any low-ranking marines should just run away if they see the Mugiwara flag.
Ok, if they go to merman island with Kokoro, we'll find out that she's royalty and in fact Jinbei's wife and thus they won't have a conflict there, it will be a happy-happy-joy-joy fun island
Well that was truely an excellent chapter.
Chapters like this one is what makes One Piece stand out.
good chapter
Chopper biting Zoro's leg funny
Aww, Chopper is so cute here…
Thanks again BF!

Kokoro's not royality; she's probably considered just as ugly in fish-man standards as people standards. God bless the soul that falls in love with that body…
where did you see that?
the fact he managed to get across onto the other 'stub' even though the connecting bridge was destroyed.

maybe you should look at the British Monarchy before deciding that looks go hand in hand with royal lineage.
Ah, it's fun to see Chopper biting Zoro's leg. It looks like it got him up too.
7)Kabuto's secret defeating the remaining warships.
But…but...it shoot's fire! Ships are made of wood! It's scientifically sound! Oh wait....One Piece.
Anyway, good chapter. Sanji and Zoro using Luffy as a slingshot was funny. SAbert00th, only Ussop disrespects the captain? Please, Luffy is like the Rodney Dangerfield of the crew.
…I miss Rodney Dangerfield.
the fact he managed to get across onto the other 'stub' even though the connecting bridge was destroyed.
I forget the islands geography, but Sanji could've swam or jumped across. He's got pretty strong legs I think.
Kokoro just tossed 3 characters up onto the ship 0_0 freaking strong.
Does anyone know how long ago (our time) since we were first introduced to AoKiji? 2 years ago? seems so long ago.
Thanks go out to Battle Franky and Murasaki for the raw and translation respectively (thanks to the folks who mirror too because bandwidth is not always so easy to come by).
It appears that the Franky Family, the rest of the Water 7 crew, and the giants are all headed back to Water 7 unscathed and without the shadow of the government over them. However, it is hard to imagine that the Mugiwara crew could return there without some significant consequences. These next few chapters are likely to be stage-setters. We will likely see the next route for the Mugiwara and the backlash of the defeat at Enias Lobby for the World Government and the Marines. Heck, maybe we'll even get a cameo of Crocadile and Mr. 1, 2, and 3 while we are at it.
I think the ending of this arc is indicative of what the story was supposed to prove. It could be argued that the CP9 battles seemed easier than battles from other arcs because Oda wanted to show how the World Government underestimated the Mugiwara crew's power and determination. Spandam is probably the perfect example of the World Government's ignorance as he can't understand why they have put so much effort into saving this one member of their crew. Beyond testing the friendship of the crew members, the complete defeat of CP9 and a portion of the Buster Call shows that the Mugiwara are bigger targets and the battles, as well as the stories themselves, will now move at a more rapid pace.
Franky still seems like the best candidate for the new crewmember, but since everyone may meet back at Enias Lobby, it is hard to confirm. Either way, I am still itching to know what Franky bought with the Mugiwara's money.
As for Going Merry, I think the Enias Lobby escape was the last ride for the ship. It will get a proper send-off from the crew and they will procure a new ship. My hope is that the ship will be completely new, but maintain the ram's head at the front of the ship. Luffy wouldn't give up that seat if his life depended on it.
the fact he managed to get across onto the other 'stub' even though the connecting bridge was destroyed.
Are you talking about the third tower of the Bridge of Hesitation? I believe that the escape ship was closest to the third tower.
I really hope we get to see in the next chapters Spandam having to explain himself in front of some Marine higher ups for the whole EL fiasco. I hope we haven't seen anything from his downfall yet, I'm usually not a sadist but you've got to love seeing him cry and get beaten up.
I'm asking myself how the mugiwaras now will manage to get BACK to Water Seven. They went just the wrong way, weren't they? They are now heading to Impel Down/Marine HQ, if I'm not mistaken.. Or are they on the OTHER side of the Gate of Justice, which faces Enies Lobby and in the long run also Water Seven? ? Confused, a little bit ^^"
maybe you should look at the British Monarchy before deciding that looks go hand in hand with royal lineage.
I would prefer not to look at them. Looks don't necessarily go hand in hand, but ol' Charley boy didn't try to marry a noisome ogre into the family.
YOU RULE, BATTLE FRANKY!! Downloading now!
Holy shit. Spoilers were cool, but chap was great. Zoro seems little tensed o_O
He has been tensed for a while now… That's maybe because Yubashiri is broken 8(
I still hate that captain who did it.
I loved this. Sanji, Zoro and Luffy were just cool. Monsters.
YAAHOOOOOO~!
Thanks BF, Thanks Murasaki!
I'm sincerely hoping for some comeuppance for Spanda when Aokiji finds out about the whole buster call thing.
Then again, Robin and Franky have already utterly Pwned him.
That was a nice closure chapter. Now on to better things.
Scarface looking at Spandam was priceless.
Aldrich, I was wondering what you thought about the VA's expression there. Is he reacting to Spandam's face, his orders to destroy the SW's ship with Robin on board, or some other possibility?
VICE-ADMIRAL: WHAT HAPPEN !
MARINES: SOMEBODY SET UP US THE GATE !!
MARINE: WE GET SIGNAL !
SPANDAM: ALL YOUR ROBIN ARE BELONG TO US !
AOKIJI: YOU HAVE NO CHANCE TO SURVIVE MAKE YOUR TIME !
LUFFY: TAKE OFF EVERY MEAT !
Sorry. Someone had to do it.

To me it seems he finds Spandam's words highly suspicious. He probably doesn't believe Aokiji allowed Spandam to kill Robin if necessary. Now why Oda showed it…
@IT'S:
SPANDAM: ALL YOUR ROBIN ARE BELONG TO US !
bwahahahaaaha!!!

Oda showed it because Vice-Admiral Scarface is fuckin' badass. 'Nuff said!
Although I really felt like cheering when Robin broke Spandam's back.
Thanks Battle Franky!
That was an arc ending! Now it's back to Water 7 for all their stuff. I'm betting that Franky probably has a ship hidden somewhere that he's been working on and that he spent all the Straw Hats' money to help build part of it. Then, he'll agree to give it to the Straw Hats and will join them just to make sure that it can make it to the end of the Grand Line. I'm also guessing that it will somehow have part of Merry attached to it somewhere (or could even be big enough for the Merry to ride on it with the rest of the crew. Unlikely, but still possible).
Thanks Battle Franky!

This chapter really shows just how small the Merry is when compared to other ships (although the Buster Call warships are unusually large).
I could be mistaken, but is that Pandaman on page 12, in the top right frame?
It looks like it's him, jumping back from the explosion in the far left side of the frame, just above the foreground bent-over marine's back.
Ok. I have mixed feelings here.
On the one hand, this ending had a lot of drama to it, was very wel drawn, and is expertly put together.
On the other hand, Usopp never got his moment. Ever. The arc is fucking over. And now I'll bet his self esteem problem that's been developing for THREE FUCKING ARCS will have vanished for no believable reason.
Goddamn you oda -_-
