Sigh I woke up this morning and I found out that my OP drive has 45out of 60gb. My episodes downloaded from the very beginning and to the latest episodes are all wiped out for no reason. Including the movies and doujinshi. I know my computer doesn't have a virus since I scanned it yesterday….. anyone experienced the same problem before? T__T

That sounds very sad. I'm sorry.
It shouldn't be too difficult to get them again, though. I keep all my episodes on discs.
-
Damn, that's really unfortunate Rashie. On the flipside a friend gave me a 2x10 packs of DVD+RW on Friday, and I've been clearing all my One Piece episodes, movies, ect on the discs, on onto my seventh disc.
-
is it better to put them on PC or cd's? what if the cd's broke what well you do after that. i always thought that a external hardisk is the best
-
Well my hdd was so cluttered, so I needed to air it out a bit. I usually maintain & keep all my CD & DVD's in the best condition. So there's no real risk, and if by chance I lost one or broke a disc, I could always download those episodes again, no biggy.
-
what happens if seeders stop to seed
-
I usually hit up IRC for older episodes, torrents aren't really reliable.
-
lucky you i dont know how to use IRC <_<

Well, over the years I've had quite a few HD failures and have lost important stuff, but never has any of my discs stopped working. Just take care of them.
-
Ouch, my condolences.
This is why I burn most of my One Piece eps to disc so that I never have more than 20 on my comp. I keep them clearly labeled neatly stacked on a disc-holder and keep it in a safe place where it's not likely to fall and break.
Yeah, I'm obsessed.

lucky you i dont know how to use IRC <_<well, it's not very difficult, if i remember well, AP website has a help for IRC.
you can also go on soldats.net, it seems that their IRC help is very reliable

Yeh, getting episodes from bots isn't all that tricky. Now, figuring how to access and use f-serve is a little tougher for IRC n00bs.
-
Procrastination does have its consequences T_T I thought of getting a DVD burner and I waited thinking that this day never comes….....but it did goes redownload everything T__________________T Its not the problem of getting the episodes, its the problem in getting into legal issues. Don't lecture me on these stuff goes dig a hole and waits for the downloads to finish
My advise to those having OP in their HDD, please get a backup system if you don't wanna lose all your OP data T___T
-
i had my computer freek out a month ago and delet all my websites i had bookmarked (it was kinda sad) but im slowly finding them again
-
I stopped burning my OP eps to disk around episode 70. Maybe I should start again..

You only lost One Piece, don't worry, I lost my entire Manga collection last year and my hard drive is still having a problem, so some partition gets messed up and I lose all the data in it… (Happened twice this year, after I built up another 30G of each.) Now I didn't bother gathering back English scanlations any more... Argh, I need a new hard drive.

I usually burn them to CD after I upload to whatever site I have, then delete when I don't have any more space… That way, I still have back up even if something happens on CDs those online copies are shared in IRC, so hopefully even if I lost the online copy, I'll still have something ~.~

Perhaps try using scandisk or something. I read that if you use the files too much, something bad will happen in that particular allocation. I am not sure but it seems like it, defrag it or something x/
