Yeeeah How much I loved Perfect Blue! Solid psychological horror!
My favourite scene must be the one where she runs after her alter ego through the building and through the crowded city in the rain. But now when I reimagine it as the chubby manager, skipping around in her tight dress, it suddenly turns funny.
But Paprika topped it all and made me feel like I'm high on shrooms.
I need to watch me some Paranoia Agent though. I'm looking forward to this ride!

and here it is, the overdue One Piece fanart from me

now…I rarely draw OP fanart (excluding the hentai of course, to include the hentai OP fanart would be the MAJORITY of the things I draw and...um..ahem)
and to draw all members of the Mugiwara one the same picture is quite an accomplishment for me..
despite of how uninteresting this drawing is ;_;

lots of my friends here are going ape shit crazy over maple trees right now
as for me…well, as a Canadian who has seen maples about a billion times already, it doesn't really interest me as much

I have never seen a maple tree in autum, so that would be really nice to see. But a real caterpillar of that size is not to be scoffed at! You made the right choice!
In all seriousness, that tree looks amazing. I don't know what you used (watercolours?) But it's a very soothing picture. Hope to witness a real canadian autumn someday.

Hi guys, Egg here, you may remember me as the guy who drew all those perverted stuff and the guy who never finish any comic he started, or you may not know me at all since I haven't posted here in like, what, 4 years?
For those who do remember me, hey there, long time no see.
Anyway, around the time before I stopped posting there was some issue with my image hosting domain, and a lot of the images in my thread went down. Then I just spent the last few days going through the entire thread and fixing every single broken image, one by one by one by one by one by one….it nearly drove me mad but hey, most of the images are fixed so feel free to check'em out.

I don't know if my reappearance here means I'm here to stay again or not, but I do know that after going through the entire thread filled me with a lot of nostalgia and reminded how much I enjoyed drawing. I don't draw much nowadays but, I unno, hopefully I can do something about that, eh?

Time to catch-up on some things:

'Round the time I stopped posting here, I suffered an eye injury in which the retina in my right eye detached, and I didn't know how serious it was (like possibly-going-blind-serious) and left it untreated until...well, I actually ALMOST went blind in one eye. Fortunately I was able to get eye surgery in time and thanks to the good doctor who performed on me, I was able to save my sight. Recovery wasn't much fun though.

Though I did live out my fantasy of being a pirate by wearing an eye-patch for like 4 months…yay?

After my eye rehab I traveled back to Japan again to live out my dream of being a mangaka- um, I mean, a Prefectural High School English teacher for a year. I rather enjoyed my life there being immersed in Japanese culture and people… though I was quite taken by surprise by how cold it gets there. Actually, being Canadian I'm not usually susceptible to cold... but it appears most Japanese architectures aren't really familiar with the concept of 'insulating your walls so your house won't get so damn cold and you won't have to waste so much electricity on heaters and kotatsus'...

My kotatsu was really a life-saver though..

I put my artistic ability to good use in my teaching, too. Making and designing my own teaching material was a blast

When I'm not drawing for the school, I doodled whatever I wanted as well

While I was in Japan, I got into an argument with Chang over ….attack of titans... After which we haven't spoken since. That was like 3 years ago : (

Oh, as I've mentioned earlier, all of the images in this thread went down awhile ago, and I just spent the last few days restoring most of the images…
But I took one look at that 'boobies retrospective' and thought "MEH"

So ya, that was one of the few images I didn't bother restoring~ but all of them are reposts from this thread anyway~

And no, no he doesn't, neither do most of my old drawing buddies in this forum...and that makes me a sad old egg
