but before the end one thing is for sure Luffy is gonna go back to all the people he said he would see again and he would have to give the hat back to Shanks
Throughout this month, we will be testing new features (like search) so you may experience some hiccups from time to time. We'll try to not be too disruptive...
One Piece: THE END
-
-
I could definetly see something like him dying with a smile, with all his friends in the crew grinning (or crying, or looking all solemn any of the three would be great). However, I also think that it would be cool for him to be saved, and then as he leaves, he looks back at the Logue Town gallows and says something about finally beating Roger…or something. Seeing him surpass Roger by living on I think would be an awesome ending.
No doubt Oda will pull something off that'll make all of our eyes water, he's pretty good at that.
-
I still think it'll end just like DBZ did, only midfight, and with Luffy fighting Laboon.
Still, I'd love to see the ending where everyone wakes up and finds Luffy gone and they wonder if it was all a dream.
-
Yeah, I want him to die a Pirate King, too. Namely years from now, after his adventures have ended, he's brought back to Louge Town to be executed. He says something witty (perhaps about finding his own treasure?) while his crew mates (all in disguise) stand by and watch. The blade comes down on Luffy as he simply smiles, then the view is cut away to see his hat floating away on the wind. \o.o/
Or perhaps something 'happier.' Whichever. XD
Well considering Luffy's best known line is "I'm going to be King of the Pirates", what if his final words were "I AM King of the Pirates". And then like you said his hat blows away, but we see a little kid pick it up and look totally inspired.
This is of course presumming Luffy has not taken down the WG, seeing as so many speculations think the WG is trying to hide what One Piece is anyway. Though I reckon if Luffy dies, so will everyone else. I highly doubt the WG will turn a blind eye to the rest of the Mugiwara if Luffy says something like "Take me, let my friends go".
It'd be sad to see everyone (or ANYONE) die really, but it depends if Oda wants to leave One Piece open to fanfic writers or close it off by killing everyone. Who knows.
I stick by thinking everyone slowly gets killed off after archieving their dreams. Not that I WANT that to happen o_O -
Oda is no Tomino (Kill em'all). That's for sure….
-
My guess is this:
-Luffy will die
-Arlong, Kuro, Crocodile, Enel, Lucci, and Spandam will start their own world government and start killing and torturing everyone
-The sky will turn blood red
-The world will end
-Everyone will go to Hell foreverOr, you know, we might actually be reading One Piece.
-
I have a perfect ending to the series. Of course, it has a few bugs, but nothing too serious. I think it will be an amazing ending.
The entire world is currently at chaos fighting the World Government. Or, I should say, what's left of it. The Five Elder Stars have just been defeated, but before they all fell out, they were able to activate one of the Ancient Weapons, Pluton.
Pluton turns out to be a giant bomb, kind of like a nuclear bomb. Luffy and the rest of his crew is at this place where the bomb is about to go off. Luffy stands watching the bomb as it ticks, then turns around and see's his entire crew fighting off the marines that still remain.
Zoro is distracted by something, so he turns around to see that Luffy has picked up Pluton and lifted it above his head. "Luffy!" he shouts, and the rest of the crew also turns around to see Luffy holding Pluton. They all know Luffy, and they know what he will do.
Luffy looks down at them all and smiles. At this point, even the marines are interested at what the crazy Miguwara is going to do. Luffy laughs for a moment, then speaks. "This thing is going to kill my nakama if I don't do anything. If I die protecting them, if I die for a good reason, then that's that. This is a good reason, to protect them all."
Luffy then spins around and starts running off as quickly as he can away from everyone else. Nami starts running after him screaming "Luffy!" but Sanji grabs her arm and stops her.
Nami looks at Sanji, puzzled. "What the hell are you doing!? You're captian's about to kill himself!"
Sanji sighs, blowing a little smoke off from his cigarrette. "I can't stop him. Even if I followed him and tried, his will is too strong to stop him. That kid is the Pirate King, and he knows it. The world is at his feet. He's going to do what he has to do." Sanji paused, then looked up at Nami. "And that's that."
Everyone's eyes had remained looking over the large cliff that Luffy had ran across and over not too long ago. Many minutes past, and by this time the entire Mugiwara crew was almost at tears. They knew no one, even a rubberman like Luffy, couldn't survive such an explosion.
Then, all of a sudden, there was a tremendous explosion that shook the entire earth. Dust and debree and all sorts of things blew away from the amazing force the explosion has caused. Giant rocks and buildings began to criple just by the shake and wind of this giant explosion.
But yet, the Mugiwara's stayed in their place. And they watched.
Soon, everything went quiet. All the marines layed ducking, covering their heads. The 9 remaining Mugiwara's still looked forward.
Then Nami sped away, running as fast as she could up the cliff. She was quickly followed by the rest of the crew, except Sanji and Zoro.
Zoro looked over at Sanji. "She would go stop her?"
Sanji shook his head. "We should go also. She'll need someone to comfort her."
After a very long run across a completely flat plain that had been swept dry of everything it was by Pluton, Nami puased, and her heart stopped. Usopp and the rest of the crew soon came to her side, and they looked forward to see a body laying not too far off. Clentched in that body's hand was a Straw Hat, tworn right in half.
All of the Miguwara's slowly walked toward the body. They are encircled the dead Luffy, looking down at him. Then, something happened.
Luffy grinned brightly, then began to do his famous laugh.
"Hehehe!! Nami, will you fix my hat again?"
Then the screen goes black. And that's The End.
-
Success is a journey, not a destination. The doing is often more important than the outcome.
-
I'm thinking that One Piece will have all the Straw Hat's dreams collectively, somewhere, on Raftel, whatever. It sounds silly for Sanji to find All Blue or Chopper discovering a panacea before reaching Raftel.
Either that, or we could pull off a Shaman King ending. That piece of trash ending.

HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA…..
(this is exactly what I did after reading it.)Don't be mistaken, it's a freaking good ending....I would have not though of that......I would say it's 90% Odaish

Exactly. I wrote it as I thought Oda would write the ending. Not how I would like it to end. ^_^

The only thing is…why would Luffy change his name to Gol D. Roger?
Because, if he didn't change it he will make a inbalance in the TIME SPACE CONTINUEM (or whatever it's spelling is).
-
It reminds me of the video of Time Paradoxes that Raiden creates when trying to kill Big Boss. It's hilarious.
No, but Luffy being his own grandfather would be awesome. It would explain why everything is so messed up on Odaworld.

@Fire Fist:
There was this one game or book… I forget the name... where at the end, after everything was resolved and the world was right again, the main character simply vanished. The characters just woke up and noticed he was gone.
That's kind of how I want One Piece to end. The strawhats just wake up one day to find Luffy missing, and they search around and find a note that says:
"So long, my nakama. Thanks for everything."
- Monkey D(Whateverdstandsforwillfinallybewritten) Luffy.
Then everyone will wonder where the hell he went, and it will flash to Twin Capes lighthouse.
We'll see Luffy yell for Laboon, and Laboon will apear.
Luffy will look up at him and say, "I said I would be back, didn't I?"
Then he'll throw a punch and the series will end before the punch connects.
Either that, or the same type of deal, minus the note. That way, everyone can wonder, "Was it all a dream?"
I don't know man, that's kind of… lame.
Why on earth would Oda lower his standards THAT much. It's plain sloppy, not to mention illogical.
I mean, it would totally negate one of THE main themes in One Piece: Having friends and sticking by them. There's no way in HELL Luffy would leave his crew behind, especially after all they will have been through by the end of the series. It just makes no sense. -
The End of One Piece,
By Professor Dr. Junkman
Luffy says, "Omgz we got the one piece"
Crew says "Omgz One Piece is the treasure of friendship"
Luffy says, "I've always hated you the most Sanji"
TEH END!
