One would think that a senior in high school would never have this problem. but unfortunately, I do and it's stressing me out.
As some of you know (I posted it in a thread a while back) I have a serious stutter problem. I've been having this problem for as long as I can remeber, and most people are mature about it and don't mind, or just plain don't have the patience to talk to me. But there is this one kid who always likes to make fun of the faces I do when I stutter. He does this contuniuously, and I have continuously told him to stop. He not only makes fun of me, but also likes to poke fun at other people's handicaps or things of that nature. What I don't comprehend, is that there is another kid who stutters, yet I never hear him make fun of him. I have tried talking to him, telling him to stop, and just laughing about it hoping it would go away. Unfortunately, none of these seemed to work. I have one last option, and that is to completely smash his face in. I don't mean to sound steroetypical here, but he is sort of a geek, and I can easily use force to make him stop. But I am sure that will cause more problems so I try not to think of going down that path. Still, he continues to make fun of me and my speech impediment, and I am fresh out of ideas on how to tell him to cease his ridiculing me.
He is a nice kid, he is funny and is very intelligent. And I dont want to lose him as a good acquaintence. But if he keeps this up, I dont know what I will do.
Any sound advice would be appreciated.
