Will he still be called 'Straw Hat Luffy' after he's given the straw hat back to Shanks?

I'm more concerned of how the straw hat lost it's importance. In the beginneng with Buggy and Arlong the hat was unbelievable important to Ruffy but now?
No one ever seems to scrath the hat anymore I think thats quite funny. -
Have you ever considered that
- Luffy could be stronger now and doesn't have to protect it as much anymore
- His enemies are stronger and smarter, and don't target his hat b/c it does no physical damage to him
- it would get ridiculously boring so fast if Oda had all of Luffy's opponents so far attack his hat as a weakness for him…
I'm sure the Straw Hat hasn't lost it's importance. After a big fight, after Luffy's recovered, the 1st thing he looks for is his hat, just relax

The Straw Hat is still as much important to him as in the begin of the series he has that litle rope tied on to it so he puts the hat on his back like Ace does it somtimes.He did that in the Enel,Berramy and Ao Kiji fight and I think allso in other fights.But now he has to worie for his nakama and not his hat that"s the point.
