      Man, oh man, I sure am sleepy. X.x;;

      …

      Anyway, I was thinking about the various Sea Kings in Grand Line (and the Calm Belts), not to mention the inflated mammals like the Dolphins and those Sea Monkeys. Crocus said Laboon was of the biggest species of Giant Whale; since whales are the largest animals on Earth, I made the inference that Laboon was simpy the largest sea beastie introduced in the series.

      But now I'm not so sure. The Calm Belt Sea Kings look larger, that Dolphin does too, the ginormously dead beasts that made up the mountains of Little Garden and the big Koi all look equal if not larger. Since the proportions of the sea beasties are maximised for size, it looks weird seeing a giant whale that ends up being shorter than a giant dolphin!

      So, how do you lot of Arlong Park think Laboon measures up? I'm surprised I can say all this because I am very sleepy and I'm not sure about the validity of my argument.

        hmm…interesting thoughts

        Maybe Laboon's species takes centuries to fully mature, and he's still and adolescent?

          Tough call.

          However, if you look at Chapter 101-102, Laboon looks quite a bit bigger than the seakings in scale.

          Maybe this is an error on Oda's part, but look at the Going Merry when it's on the nose of that Sea King, then look at it when it's approaching Laboon. The scale is significantly different. When it's on the nose of that Sea King, we can easily distinguish where the GM is. When it's approaching Laboon, it's a tiny speck.

          Something interesting to note… That giant frog made its first appearance in Chapter 101 and then was later seen chasing the sea train. Maybe it wanted to eat Usopp again. XD

          I called it wrong, so long ago. I guess this needs to be changed.

            Yeah, perhaps it's a size error in the drawings.

              Why does everyone keep forgetting that giant turtle in Jaya arc? That thing's really big too.

                There's no question that Laboon wins. Just look at the scale. The GM is a speck when approaching Laboon. On the Sea King's nose, it was considerable size. The ship was noticeable next to the dolphin. And even to froggy and the Seaking that T-bone cut in half.
