Anyone else heard of this series? It's by Kazuo Umezu who is supposed to be a famous horror-manga artist and Viz Media just released volume 1. So far it's pretty good and really creates a genuine sense of fear, but volume 1 was mainly just setup. From the preview it looks like volume 2 will pick up and become more exciting so I'm looking forward to the rest of this series.

It's an old, old series. But it still should be better than most of the crap coming out. I have never read it actually. I did read Azumanga Daioh… what was the Japanese word for a fan made story... version of it though. This particular version had lots of naked chicks on it. Anyway, Omanga was scanlating Drifting Classroom, I think.

Yes, that Azumanga one sucked horribly. It had a shitty ending too.
