War mangas

I have become a manga junkie over the past two years. The first manga I got into was Naruto, my room mate in college downloaded the lee vs gaara(anime version) and I was hooked on manga since than.

I have read some good mangas so far, my favorite has to be Berserk. I love the war aspect of it.

I was wondering are there any good War mangas out? Either ongoing or completed? I figure a war manga would be hard to do because of all the characters and how the fights are decided but i was still hopping there were at least a couple of war mangas out there that I can get into.

Berserk during the flash back arc is pretty much war themed.

Recently Berserk is war themed too ever since NOBODY SPECIAL returned to the physical world.
But….wars with demons vs. scared soldiers are a little different then before.

Konjiki no Gash Bell in a way is a war of demons/mamonos, worth trying out XD

there's a fairly new one called "sengoku" it's got 9 books so far but i'm not sure if its been released stateside or even scanlated…

Uh….actual war scenes are what he's going for. Like armies, army life, etc.

Oh, sorry about that. Yeah, what the others said, Suikoden III is worth trying out and the Star Ocean III Manga as well durring the Elicoor arc.
