Here's a fun topic that was once on shonenanime.com before it's untimely demise.
I really love this. post what you think various animes would be like if 4kids got them.

If 4kids got…..

Naruto:
Shuriken would be frisbees.
Kunai would be paper airplanes.
Senbon would be Peppermint sticks.
Naruto's favorite food would be Spaghetti, not ramen.
Everyone Gaara killed would be "turned into sand".
Gaara would'nt have a tatoo because tatoo's are unaccepatble for children.
Kakashi would knock the breath out of Haku instead of running him through.

Trigun:
All the guns would become hammer guns.
Midvalley the Hornfreak would shoot jawbreakers from his Sax/Gun.
Rai-Dai the Blade would'nt have a sword but instead a Bokuto.
Knives's name would be changed to Sweetums.
The Gung-Ho Guns would be the "Hooray Hearts".

Like I said, this is a great topic, and becaue everyone here hates 4kids with a passion, I figured you'd love it. Have fun folks...

Zazi the Beast was that little kid with the power to control those worm things. Rai-Dai the Blade is the swordsman in the group…and even HE carried a gun (inside sheath of his sword.)

Jim would be Gene's younger brother...and both of their "parents" would be away on business

Hilda's eyepatch would be digitally edited

All the Kei/Ban Pirates would you "Yaarr, maties"

They would call the ship the Outlaw Star the FIRST time they see it, unlike when Gene actually names it

They would cut out at least half of the episodes

Suzuka would be an ancient Samurai spirit!

Aisha's purrrfect rack would be covered in almost every episode ;_;

Hazanko would be named Zeke

Harry would be classified as the OLDER MacDougall Brother

Gene's Caster would be painted seethrough purple and squirt water at at everyone

Gene would have no guns at all....no regular guns

Fred Luo would Gene's crazy lovable "dad"

The show would be about 6 episodes long...actually

Ed: Kids, science is fun!
Al: Beep! Beep! Enter...battle mode!

Scar would go around "slapping" people on the head as a messenger of "Goodness"
The Homunculi would have names like "Ross" and "Betty"

Ichigo would be called Strawberry...forever.
Rukia would be Rachel.
Kon would talk with a dopey Mickey Mouse voice.
Isshin and Ichigo would'nt fight, but talk they're differences out like good families do.
Ichigo's mother would be an actress "away making a movie."

Konjiki no Gash Bell!!:

Gash would'nt be a demon, but instead a living puppet.
The Vulcan 300 would be made from a french fries box.
Bragou would'nt be goth looking, he'd be a clown.
Zeon would be named Zeke.
Kiyomarou would be named Kenny.
Kyanchyome would talk with a Donald Duck sounding VA.
Folgore would have David Moo as his VA.
Folgore's "Tit Groping Song" would be changed to Kid Muscles "Cow and Rice Song."
Kiyomarou would have Ash from Pokemon's VA.
The Spellbooks would become Poke'balls.

Rumina-san would be called Joe
The Anime would be re-named to Hollywood Underground
Rumina's wooden wind sword would be called a popsickle stick
and Chelsea Rorec would be called Mary

THEY CHANGE CORNELLO NOT BE A PRIEST, BUT TO A MAYOR(WHICH HE KINDA WAS, BUT HE WAS ALSO A PREIST)
THEY'LL CUT OUT HUMAN ALCHEMY AND CHANGE IT TO THE "SPELL OF THE MONSTER POPPING OUT FROM THE CIRCLE" SPELL.
THEY WONT METION ANY RELGIOUS STUFF.
MUSTANG GOT IN A CAR ACCIDENT WITH ED'S FATHER, AND ED'S FATHER DIED.
THE ALCHEMY CIRCLE WILL BE CHANGED TO LOOK DIFFERENT.
THE POLHISPOR STONE (SP) WON'T BE MADE OUT OF HUMANS.

If 4kids got Tenchi Muyo OVA…
Ryoko would be a plain space pirate from the start and not a demon.
All kanji erased.
Ryoohki would be a bunny
The bathtub scenes would be gone.
Digitally edit Mihoshi in since they cut that episode.
Kagato would fight Yosho with his mind since using women as shields are bad.
Washu would flat out say that she was Ryokos mom. No mention of OVA or her body.
Kagato would be transported to Galaxy Police HQ.
Yosho would run a lost and found place since Shinto is bad.
Nobiyuki would ask for just a kiss.
Ryoko would have her clothes on in Clays ship.
Edit in the Sasami/Tsunami thing in the Kagato episode since that episode had a scene in the tub.
The sword would be a stick since they are afraid Lucas would sue.
Tenchi would be voiced by Kaiba
Noybuki by Ussop
Kagato by David Moo.
All girls voiced by Veronica Taylor, Luffys VA, and Namis VA.

If 4kids got GANTZ:
-The Giant Buddha would be an incredibly tall fat guy named Chin-poh.
-After it kicks that one guy and breaks his neck, theycue up the scene of Zeff kickin Ironfist Fullbody from OP and then "Chin-poh" says: "He'll fill that in the morning. Ho ho ho!"
-The giant buddha would have a VA none other than the likes of the guy who did Lee bailong's master from Shamn King and would speak in broken english/the typical asian stereotype voice.
-Kurono and Masaru would get hit by the train in the beginning but the would go flying into the sky screaming "Looks like Team Rocket's blasting off again!"
-The homeless guy they try to resue would have Zeff's VA.
-Kei would'nt slit her wrists but instead have covered them in Vick's vapo rub and be knocked out.
-Name changes galore:
Masaru=Micheal
Kurono=Kenny
Kei=Katie
-They would'nt be "killing" aliens but instead, "capturing them".
-Speaking of the capturing thing, the guns would'nt be guns but "Proton Packs" (ala' Ghostbusters) The would suck the aliens in after "knocking them out"
-GANTZ, the "mysterious spherical object" would be a talking stop sign or beach ball.
-GANTZ would also have that annoyin VA that plays one of Eggman's robot servant on Sonic X
