I mean the ending feel very cheap just like what they did with Tenjou Tenge. And at least TT had a continuation in the manga…

the novels are still running and right now, in them, the current arc revolves more on Tabitha besides her past.

God they better make a season 2.

Now there's really a big possibility for a season 2.

According to Sushi-Y, a reliable info gatherer on rumors and news, there's a rumor around Japan's media that JC Staff is planning for a second season.

Also, ep 13 ended in the end of vol 3 of the novels and there are 6 novels in all so..Second season is sure to come.

Saito x Henrietta

! (The story follows Henrietta after she snuck out from the palace and bumped into Saito inside the city. Together, they (well, Henrietta) disguised themselves as commoners, and hid inside a room of a run-down hotel nearby in order to escape from the persuing guards)
!
! At that moment…...
Thump thump thump!
Someone banged on the door strongly.
! "Open up! Open this door! We're with the imperial army patrol! A criminal is on the run, so we're searching all the inns in this area! Open this door now!"
! Saito and Henreitta looked at each other.
! "They must be looking for me"
! "......Let's ride it out. Keep quiet"
! Henrietta lowered her head and nodded, but......
Soon, the door knob began to turn. However...... since the door is locked, it would not open. Clack, clack! The knob began to shake violently.
! "Open this door up now! This is an emergency, we'll break this door down if we have to!"
! Crack! The sound of the door knob being broken by a sword hilt or something was heard.
! "This won't do"
! With a determined face, Henrietta began to unbutton her shirt.
! "Princess?"
! Knowing he would make a surprised sound was exactly why Henrietta pushed her own lips onto Saito's. It was a sudden and intense kiss. After she crossed her arms around Saito's neck, who is confused and shaken, Henrietta pushed him down onto the bed. Next, Henrietta closed her eyes and pushed her hot breath and tongue into Saito's mouth. It was a kiss so intense, it made one's mind foggy.
! Henrietta pushing Saito down onto the bed occurred at the exact same moment the soldiers smashed the knob and kicked the door open.
! What the two soldiers saw was...... The body of a woman riding on top of a man, sucking intensely on his lips. The woman is so out of it, she pays no attention to the soldiers who have entered. Sighs of love continued to leak out from the gaps between the lips of the two.
! The soldiers stood still and watched them for a while, but...... eventually, one of them muttered.
! "......Geez, we're trying to catch someone in the rain here, and you people are enjoying yourselves?"
! "Don't complain, Pierre. When this is over, let's go have a round of drinks"
! And then, slam! They closed the door and disappeared downstairs. The door with a broken knob opened again slighly with a creak.
! Henrietta moved her lips away, but...... even after the soldiers have left the inn, she continued to gaze at Saito with moist eyes.
! Against Henrietta's sudden actions, Saito was caught completely off guard. He felt strongly that Henrietta was prepared to sacrifice even her own body if she needed to during her acts tonight.
! With a flushed face, Henrietta continued to gaze at Saito.
! "......Princess"
! Henrietta said in a painful voice.
! "I believe I have already asked you to call me Ann"
! "But......" Saito said, before his lips were forced onto again. This time, it was a gentle...... affectionate kiss. Amidst the lamp's glow..... Henrietta's bare white shoulders jumped into the view.
! Totally confused, Saito allowed Henrietta to trace her lips along the outlines of his face.
! "Do you have...... a lover?"
! Henrietta whispered by his ear in a hot voice. One could almost melt at that sound. Louise's face appeared within Saito's head. Louise is not a lover. But......
! "No, but......"
! Henrietta bit Saito's earlobes.
! "Then, please treat me as you would a lover"
! "W, what are you......!"
! "Just for tonight. I am not telling you to become my lover. Just, hold me tight...... and kiss me, please......"
! Feeling almost as if time itself has stopped....... Several overwhelming minutes passed by.
! The room is filled with moisture thanks to the rain, and smell of other people's body odor drifted from the bedsheet.
! Saito gazed at Henrietta's eyes. Even within such a dirty room...... Henrietta's beauty is dazzling. No, maybe this room is exactly what makes her shine.
! You could almost drown within that attractiveness. But...... if he were to kiss Henrietta any more than this...... Louise would probably never forgive him. Not only that, she would be sad too. Henrietta is the person who Louise looks up to the most, that's why.
! That can't happen.
! Towards somone important to the person important to him...... he cannot just pretend to be her lover and kiss her. That would only make Henrietta lonely. There should be other ways to comfort her.
! That's why Saito gently stroked Henrietta's light chestnut-coloured hair.
! "I cannot become your prince"
! "No one asked you to become such a thing"
! "You know this already, right? I am from another world. That is why...... I cannot become... the replacement of someone from this world."
! Henrietta closed her eyes, and laid her head onto Saito's chest.
! As she did that...... the heat appears to have slowly withdrawn...... Henrietta whispered shyly.
! "......Please don't think of me as an immodest woman. Even though they call me a queen...... I am still a woman. There are nights when I long for the warmth of someone."
! For a while...... Henrietta continued to lay her head against Saito's chest. Inside probably the cheapest lodging house in the city, the most noble woman of the country is trembling within my arms like a child. At that thought, Saito laughed bitterly at the ironic pairing.

Saito x Siesta

! Saito is stunned at Louise's statement, he realized that Louise feels nothing about being treated as a "tool", to be treated not as a "person", but as a "weapon". Then, he realized that Louise must be seeing him the same way too: Gandolfr, a tool that exists solely for the protection of his master. Saito soon believed this explanation, the true identity of the "something" that he felt between him and Louise: Louise must be seeing him as nothing but a tool, it explained her attitude, her behaviour, everything.
! Angrily, Saito dashed out into the snowing streets. Louise turned around and filled her cup fill of wine, and downed it all in one gulp without diluting it.
! Out in the streets, Saito walked on aimlessly when someone called out to him, it was Siesta.
! Worried for Saito, Siesta came after him after he stormed out of the pub. With teary eyes, Siesta pleaded for Saito to stop wondering the streets. Against a crying Siesta, Saito had no choice but to listen to her. But since most inns are occupied by soldiers and merchants, rooms are hard to find. But finally, they found a room in the basement of of a bar.
! Inside the small and cold room, Saito and Siesta sat down on the bed. Saito continued to pet Siesta's head for while, and she finally stopped crying. Siesta apologized to Saito, not just for herself, but for the others too. She knew Saito has done so much for Louise and the others, and yet, treatment towards him has always been so cold.
! A little happy at her words, Saito began to light the fireplace, just when he managed to get the fire going….. Siesta hugged him from behind. Saito froze.
! ------------------------------- (main dish)
Siesta: "I'm sorry......" Siesta said in an almost-crying voice.
Saito: "Eh? No, it's okay...... I got nothing else to spend my money on anyway......"
Saito thought that maybe Siesta was feeling bad for making him rent the room, but he was wrong.
Siesta: "Chasing you all the way here...... I must be a bother for you"
Squeeze, Siesta hugged Saito tightly.
The fire moved onto the firewoods....., and began burning brightly. The half-underground room has a window at the top for lighting. The window faces the street, and the feets of passing pedestrians and snow could be seen.
Saito: "You're not a bother at all"
Siesta: "I wanted to see you, so much"
Again, with an almost-crying voice, Siesta whispers.
Siesta: "Because, it's a war, right? If something, something were to happen to Saito-san, then I...... I'm afraid that I won't be able meet you again, so I wondered how I can come here. And then, I heard that Jessica and the others are coming to Albion, so......"
While talking, Siesta seemed to be overwhelmed again.
Siesta began crying once again.
Siesta: "I wanted to meet you like this. I was so happy to meet you, but, I didn't know what to say. And when I talked, lots of stuff came out. Different stuff. Really"
! Nudge, nudge, Siesta pressed her teary face against Saito's back.
Saito: "Yeah......"
"......I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry for crying." Siesta whispered over and over again.
Saito lifted Siesta's hands and turned around, and while petting her head with his left hand, he wiped away her tears with his right hand finger.
Siesta: "I felt so bad for Saito-san. To be brought here from another world, but even then, you worked so hard without complaining. And yet, it's so cruel for them to treat you like a tool. It's too cruel. M, my most important person...... to be treated like a tool....."
Saying that while crying, Siesta looked up at Saito's face. Without thinking, quietly, Siesta moved her lips closer to his..... and then, realizing what she was doing, she quickly tried to draw back.
Without thinking, Saito applied strength into his hands placed on Siesta's face. He didn't want to let her go.
Siesta noticed the strength Saito put into his hands, and stopped her hesitation. She swung her hands around his neck, and quickly laid her lips on his.
Feeling it for the first time, Siesta's lips were warm. Everything about Siesta was soft. Almost like the white breads she always baked for him at the kitchen, warm and soft.
! Siesta moved her face back a little, and gazed at Saito's face with moist eyes. And, once again, she pressed her lips on his strongly. From there, Siesta laid her weight on top of Saito, and pushed him down onto the floor.
With the fireplace burning brightly in the background, Siesta's black hairs moved. They rustled and tickled Saito's face.
The gentle girl who always stayed by his side.
As if she made her mind up about something, Siesta closed her eyes, unhooked her dress, and began taking off her top.
W, wait, as Saito tried to say, his lips were blocked by her kiss.
The kiss was sweet yet intense, after becoming all mixed up and tangled in each other, Siesta blushed and placed her hand on Saito's chest.
In that position, Siesta leaned her body against Saito's, and laid her lips on top of his, over and over again, as if to stroke his lips.
Then, she lifted her lips slighty, and whispered,
Siesta: "I love you"

! With the bright flame behind her, Siesta looked incredibly lovely, and erotic. It was the kind of look that Saito didn't feel from the time when they bathed together.
Perhaps it was those words, I love you, and the mood brought on by the kisses.
A girl could change her shape easily, almost like a flame.
Saito never knew that Siesta actually had such an attractive appearance.
Even then, seeing Saito not moving at all, as if he was stiff, Siesta pouted.
Siesta: "Jessica told me. She said there's no way a boy would do nothing after coming this far. And that if he really did nothing, then he must really don't think of you as anything"
Saito: "T, t, that's not true…..."
As if his heart is about to explode, Saito squeezed out the words.
Siesta: "Then, please touch me"
Siesta then took Saito's hand and began guiding it towards her cleavage, which can be seen peeking out from her black dress, so Saito looked away. He felt like he might snap if he looked at Siesta like this.
Siesta: "You don't like me?"
Siesta asked, Saito shook his head.
Saito: "That's not it. That's not it at all."
Saito spoke in a painful voice. He is a healthy young man. It is hard to hold back. It is killing him. He wanted to hold onto this cute Siesta tightly....... and make her his. But he felt if he did that...... it would become fake. He felt that he would be lying, to something important.
That's why, Saito shook his head.
Saito: "......Somehow, I feel like it will become a lie"
Siesta: "A lie?"
! "Yeah. Siesta is a very important person to me, so...... like this, um...... like, in such a chaotic condition, for us to, uh......" Saito said in jumbled words.
Perhaps his attitude delivered his message.
Siesta thinks for a while...... and then gently smiled as if she changed her mind.
Siesta: "Saito-san, do you remember?"
Saito: "......Eh?"
Siesta: "Before, at Tarbes, you said this. You said that since you came from another world, you have to go back one day. Therefore you can't make me any promises"
Saito: "......Yeah"
Siesta: "And I said that I'm alright with it even then, remember? That wasn't a lie, you know. I still think that way, even now"
Saito: "Siesta"
Siesta: "I'll wait. For when your feelings become so strong, you won't mind making this a lie...... That time may never come, but...... I'll wait for you. And when it comes..... all of me will be......."
Saying something like that made Siesta look so innocent and sweet, Saito hugged her tightly without thinking.
Siesta gazed at Saito with puppy-like eyes, and said,
Siesta: "Just for tonight. Hold me tight...... And kiss me now and then. Can I have at least that? Will even that make it a lie?"
Saito: "K, kisses are a little......"
Siesta: "If you don't want to kiss, I'll just take off my clothes then"
That'd be troublesome, since he can't hold back if she took off her clothes.
Against such a Siesta, there was no way Saito could reject her. Siesta layed herself down on top of the bed, and looked up at Saito. Her expression was not of the professional face she had always shown when she distributed the cakes and wines, but her natural and true look. A dear and nostalgic feel hanged in the air.
Saito embraced the girl, the girl who said "I love you" to him.

Saito you lucky bastard. They better animate at least these 2 scenes in the second season.

the second season started!!! you might know already, seeing how 10 fansub teams began working on it.

anyway, episode 1 was AWESOME, i smiled the whole ep just to find this nice mood again. but episode 2 was incredibly annoying.
