Zero no Tsukaima (In English-Zero's Familiar)

Meet Louise, a budding magician. The students at the Tristein Academy call her "Zero Louise", due to her current record of zero successes with magic. In fact, her magic tends to go spectacularly wrong. Now, as an important test of her aptitude for magic, she must summon a familiar to be her servant. At this critical moment, she summons up all her magic and wishes for a familiar that is "devoted, beautiful and powerful", and gets… Hiraga Saito, an ordinary Japanese boy. It's difficult to say who is more surprised and dismayed, but the rules don't allow for second attempts. Louise is stuck with her strange familiar, and he with her.

This series is up to 8 eps so far and I have catched up and I must say, I have fallen in love with this series. Its more like Harry Potter than Negima is XD..Fave character is Louise-chan despite she's scare XD and Saito, he's like Saber with that sword of his and I highly reccomend this anime to anyone who wants adventures and such.

You're right XD. Saito isn't feminine and no where as close to her skills. But, he still has nice sword skills, but still does not compare to Saber XD.

this show is great, It always make me laugh oh and I love the louise de la valiel name it so cute. Oh and I love louises voice too, and saito get kissed too many times ^^;

I too must say that I am a fan of this series. Shana fans might get a kick out of Rie Kugimiya (Louise in ZnT and Shana in SnS) and Satoshi Hino (Saito in ZnT and Yuuji in SnS) reprising similar roles to those that they had in Shana. Also the show is great for animated gifs XD

In regards to the recent ep, I LOLed hard with Louise in love potion daze :wub: Also, Siesta getting pissed off all over those things made me laugh a lot. So next ep is probably the request Henrietta is talking about, thus encountering a new enemy. Oh and I must say, now I know why Tabitha locks her emotions away :sad:

Dont think so but that contex is way too hillarious not to imagine. And yeah summon servants except looks like Louise is the only one with the human XD.

But it goes like this. Saito, an ordinary Japanese boy is transported to an AU which is Louise's land, and they have two moons XD. And you shall soon see why he's goood with swordsmanship in ep 2 as well as the Rune written in his hand just incase you didn't see.

Did I mention I really like this series? I'm up to episode nine and it seems vaguely like the Shirou-Saber relationship, not to mention Saito's horrible luck reminds me a great deal of Archer.

He should be a new inductee into the "Hall of Gar".

And the show is made as a love comdey while the novels do take a darker path quite fast. But then again why am i telling you this. You know all that already

Light Novels and Manga are very different mediums. A Light Novel is a book with pages and pages of text with a couple flavoured sketches in between pages to give a concept of what the characters look like in Anime/Manga-style. A Manga is a type of comic book, and quite different from a Novel; instead of mostly words, it's mostly pictures, with only a few words, if any, per panel.

Meh, I dislike main leads ending up with the tsundere characters. They seem so utterly undeserving; Siesta is a much better partner for Saito.

Siesta is cool, but to bad they didn't show her true dark side in the love potion eps. I read it's quite painful for Saito when she gets jealous.

And only Siesta's grandfather or was it great grandfather is from Saito's world. Everything should be explained in the alst 3 eps.

Yeah, Louise is sixteen but she doesn't look like it. At least Saito and Siesta look their age, and they're especially a good couple because they're not coloured with funny hair or with odd physical attributes.
