Enies Lobby Finale

I've caught up with my manga reading, and I must say I did notice something that I was not expecting:

The "Gates of Justice", those enormous doors behind Enies Lobby, were completely and utterly destroyed by Buster Call! Now, Oda has a tendancy at the end of "major" arcs to put some sort of god-like/supernatural event occur at each arcs' climax; for Arabasta, the defeat of Crocodile brought down rain. In Skypiea, Eneru's total defeat was heralded by the sound of the Golden Bell.

So, since the obvious "supernatural" closure to Enies Lobby has been ruled out as a possibility, what do you lot think it could be?

As I recall, Arlong, Don Krieg, Kuro, Wapol, Buggy, and Foxy had no ominous ending.

Unless you consider none of these "major arcs"

In which case, I would've said the tower falling would be the ominous thing, but the BC already did it

No, I wouldn't call those major arcs, though the fall of Arlong Park is the kind of ending I'm talking about.

To reply to your question though, a good "supernatural closure" for this saga would be the destruction of the Buster Call before Robin's eyes, making her forget about her terror. Or something like that.

it be a perfect time for dragon to show up again conjuring a maelstrom sucking all the BC ship disentegrating them all out of existance. Its about time i think for that mysterious man to show up again and reveal his plans for the strawhats.

It seems unlikely, considering the BC ships are large enough to carry a crew of 1000, and so they probably take a considerable amount of manpower to sail. Even with Franky, that's still only a total of 8 people, and Nami has to navigate. Well…I guess Robin could do a lot of tasks at the same time with her devil fruit, so who knows. They might end up with a BC ship.

Or they could oblitherate the buster call and allow the marines back onto Enies Lobby. Then they can safely take the sea train back to water 7. They are already all on the other side of the escort ship anyways, so I wouldn't be surprised.

I actually think that there is a chance that Dragon can show up and wreak some kind of havoc. Either that, or they reveal out of nowhere that Enel isn't actually dead yet and that he came to his senses before he got to the moon.(lol)

To answer my own topic, I think night will fall on Enies Lobby.

I have this feeling there's going to be an "Impel Down" arc. It's probably going to be about 10-20 chapters…

Yeah, I figured they'd go to Impel Down as well. It'll be good to see Baroque Works/Strawhat reunion. They'll probably escape together or something. After escaping, Croc would try to kill Luffy again or start a new pirate crew. The possibilities are endless.

I don't know what i could be, that's what i love about Oda. As for night falling on Enies Lobby that would be pretty dramatic, but don't know how it could happen.
I always hopped that the entire island would just fall into the big Abyss. The first time i sah the Enies Lobby island and that giant hole in the ocean, i said to myself. "That piece of rock is so going to fall into the big f***ing abyss"

I've almost forgotten about that giant hole under Ennies Lobby! The buster Call might actually make all of Ennies Lobby collapse into it. Hmm….
