I think both Lucci and Arlong, and indeed many of OP's bigger foes were somewhat sidelined by the fact they were playing in "minor leagues". Luffy goes out and levels a stronger foe four times a week, but Arlong and Lucci have been levels above likely threats for YEARS. It breeds complacency.
If we're lucky, this fight will end gloriously by the next chapter; it's not dragging, it's just that Naruto and Bleach are and people are provoked to compare the flow of the manga.
Personally, since all I read is OP, everything seems fine.

Leaks tend to only occur at the beginning of the year, for some reason or another.
And are we in the begining of the year yet? Who's year? Somewhere out there, it's the first day of the year. So I'm expecting a leak.

There's about a 3:5 shot at it when there's a double issue. Almost every time I can remember, actually, we've had one.

I like Spandam better as the main arc villan. I know Lucci is the bigger threat and is the the main arc villan, but he just can't compete with Spandam when it comes to sheer vileness. I hate everything about the guy; he's a truly despicable character who deserves everything coming to him. Lucci's more of a blood-killer who, while evil, just doesn't seem as evil to Spandam to me. Seeing Spanda get blasted in the face is one of my favorite moments in One Piece.
I actually the better villians are the ones that you can actually identify with, rather than just completely hate.
Here's my one complaint, if you can call it that, why didn't we get this information sooner? This is the kind of info that comes out in some form or another WAY in advance of the final showdown so that we have something to look forward to rather than something almost in retrospect. This kind of brief history would have been a lot more mouth-watering if it didn't come up in the middle of their already titanic battle.
I'm really just very happy that Oda decided to create some kind of history for him. Beggars can't be choosers, I just question the timing of it.

Just of the reason that I want to know how strong Luchi is compared to the VAs. I think he is stronger than perhaps one, or two of them, but that's just me thinking.

I think that choppers going to wake up. in the next chapter and they will reach franky and robin. I then think Zoro sanji ussop and chopper are going to reaveal the true extent of their new abilities.

Zoro's ability is just the natural progression of his "evil looks" and "demonic aura."
Chopper even had a flashback for his.
The only one without proper explanation is Sanji's, though we can infer it to be just a new technique, and with the red leg and Wanze's similar technique, we can even arrive at two possible explanations.
well the flashback was to tell chopper not to use the form again. they haven't explained why he changes to that after 3 rumble balls
and with Zoro yeah we all know hes getting stronger but the attack was fully explain in my view anyways

Chopper transformation is explained. The zoan "waves" get too erratic after three consecutive RumbleBalls and he becomes big bad godzilla.
These waves were explained way back when Chopper used the RumbleBall for the first or second time. Think like brainwaves and the RumbleBall amplifies them to allow more forms and with three the waves go woohoo and chooper starts smashing people.
I love it how all the special pages for Jump always feature Luffy/another One Piece character in the front and center! (and not Naruto!)

i'm kinda wondering how they rest of the strawhats minus luffy, robin, and franky are going to escape from watery death in the flooded tunnel.
usopp hasn't really 'come into his own' as a lot of people have been expecting, yeah he made it possible to save robin but thats about it. also a couple of chapters ago he tried to explain how Kabuto works to sanji and zoro but they wouldn't let him finish..which leads me to believe it is of some importance that will be crucial to the outcome of the arc…
i think it would be cool if he was able to blow their way out of the tunnel with kabuto's awesome power. that would be a good way for usopp to finally feel a sense of importance in the crew, they would have died were it not for him. but a lot of people think that usopp will be crucial in the destruction of the buster call (even though i think luffy has already started doing that with his gear 3 mayhem). as a side note, does anyone see the significance of saul destroying the buster call being a giant, and luffy using his giant gear 3 limbs to possibly destroy this buster call in the process of defeating lucci? not only would it gain him an even higher bounty than just the invasion of enies lobby and the defeat of CP9, but it would be perfect for robin to see that her own nakama can defend against the buster call like saul did so long ago...

Hm Zoro made a strike on the wall in these Tunnel before the water was over him ( he hit the wall ) maybe they will be pumped out to the Bustercall?

I'd like to see maybe Usopp fire some kind of wind themed attack at it, but what I'd really like to see is an UsoSanZo combo attack involving the Fire Bird and Zoro's air cutting techniques. The only problem is that Sanji doesn't have a ranged attack to use for it. But then again Luffy and Zoro's 300 Pound Cannon was a melee+ranged (I still don't see how it worked exactly), so maybe it'll happen.
