I am sure of that aswell, because in Enies Lobby the Marine hasn't seen USOPP, they've seen the infamous Sogeking that dispatched of a BUNCH of marines in 421. And I think it'll end….
… not permanently though. I believe it may occur that he wears the costume in battle once or twice.

I've thought that might happen…but I kind of hope it doesn't. If it does, I at least hope that it won't last too long, like he'll finally get over it and realize he can't live a lie like that forever.

Except that part of Usopp's personality IS lying.
In a way, Sogeking might be a good thing for the Straw Hats. For the sake of arguement, let's say everyone gets a bounty, and considering the stunts they pulled in Enies Lobby, they'll all be rather large bounties. Only Usopp's bounty would be for Sogeking. This would mean that no one would be able to mix and mingle with the public very easily anymore.
Why is that problem? Supplies. We know the SHs need to do stuff like eat, repair the ship, be clothed, ect. If everyone has a really big bounty and become infamous, they can't just walk into the local market anymore.
If Usopp keeps up the Sogeking act - kind of like a Batman type deal - then that means he would be able to freely move amongst the public without too much fear of being arrested. This would also make him invaluable for gathering information and news. Hence, Usopp can still have the "pride" of having a nice sized bounty, but he'd also be able to continue living a semi-normal life when he's off the ship.

Yes, of course, that's where Sogeking came from in the first place, but there's always a point in which a lie creates consequences and eventually will be exposed. I'm not sold on the idea of a continuing duel identity, becuase, as already said, it could become tiresome. And I would rather Usopp become famous for being Usopp, not a made up alias. If he were introduced in the very beginning as a character with an alias like Batman, that would be one thing, but to start now?
It is a decent point to say that he could benefit from not being recognized in public, but that's not really assured to happen, since we all know that everyone recognizes him in costume except for Luffy and Chopper. It might work for a while but eventually people are going to put two and two together. And I can't imagine that Usopp would be sent all by himself everywhere anyway, they're all going to have to disguise themselves.

I think he will be DEFINETELY keeping that new slingshot. I mean, I don't think he would be able to shot all the way over a lake with just a slingshot. How/where did he get that thing anyway? Did he make it after his and Luffy's fight?

I can't guess what will happen, everyones predicting "Usopp will ditch the diguise and rejoin, the straw hats will then get a new ship and all of them including Franky wills ail off" but I personally don't think things are going to be THAT EASY. Alot has happened, and despite Usopp and Luffy has a close bond and everyone thinks it gonna be shettled after all this mess in Enies Lobby I can't help but think how this will eventually turn out.
I feel things would be akward if everyone just made up and went on their way.
However most likely he will ditch the getup, he just used that inorder to help the straw hats without (atleast thats what he was thinking) going back on the entire "leaving the crew" thing. So yeah, after this mess he'll probably ditch it.
Who knows, many Usopp wont rejoin but he'll continue to cruise the grand line shortly behind the Straw Hats and fight alongside them every now and then. (tho this is kinda pushing it)

Its kind of pushing it, but if he doesn't join back the crew, I do agree its most likely he will help the Mugiwaras every now and then on their adventures.
But I still want to see him join back honestly XD.

Well, he shot pretty far in episode 50. ^^ And before anyone says "it's filler", Oda still created that story in an extra graphic novel volume.

I think he will become Usopp again, cus in the last episode i can see his mask is broken and hold together with tape lol.
Maybe his mask gets punched off his face in one of the cp9 battles, and cant wait to see the look on luffy and choppers face when they discover that Sogeking is really usopp. -
