i dont think lucchi beaten yet at the last page he seem to be still holding his guard and i doubt he's going to fall in the ocean, by using Geppou to get to land again

This battle isn't over by a long shot, Kaku has shown better moves than Lucci so I doubt he's fighting with all his strength now. Also, Luffy's arm looks like Franky's
Wonder if Luffy was inspired by him just like when he came up with moves like Bakubaku and Kazaguruma. -

You know what that stuff with Lucci and Gear 3 reminds me of? When Freeza took the Genkidama on Namek. At first he was all like "it's ok, I got it, I'm blocking", but it didn't stop him from getting badly injured. Still wasn't enough to put him out for the count though.

After reading the chapter i have changed my mind , the battle is not over , i don't even have the feeling that i had with the other fights when they were about to be finish .
That damn pigeon guy is still in the game .

So finally, after months of reading I decided to register my own account here.^^
First BIG thanks to Battle Franky, not only for this weeks RAW but also for so many weeks before, your rock.
And the chapter is really cool, I'm interested what the translation will tell us. Nami and Co. running towards Zoro, Sanji and Soge is relly funny. Oh and I also hope Lucci is defeated but it would also make sense if he was beaten. Let's just wait and see.

Today I have seen the thing that I wanted to see the most: Lucci getting his ass PWNed. At long last, this mindless killer is defeated.

Notice that all these pages show the same trend. It ended with the opponent taking a big hit, and one is left wondering what happens next, and then the next chapter shows that the opponent is down. Crocodile didn't fall back down and continue the fight, Wapol didn't fall back down either, Ohm didn't get back up, Jabura didn't continue the figh too, and Kaku surely didn't change back to human form and continue fighitng. Surely this is no different. Plus, they have been fighting since chapter 413, and if you connect all the fights into one chapter, it would be about 3. They have been fighting for so long already, and it's about time it ended.
If you're still not convinced, then how long must the battle drag until you're satisfied?

i think gear 3 is also important since it pump air to the bone i just wondering if luffy can pump air to all of his bone that make him giant

Now that I've seen the chapter, it's very possible the fight ends here. People say that Lucchi is blocking with his arms, but in the second last page, very evidently he has been his on the face. Suitable for a finishing.

Thanks BF for the raw! The jury is still out for me on wether or not I like gear 3. Heh Heh, imagine Chopper waking up now, and finding out that he is tied to Kokero's hat, and a giant wave is right behind them. I was hoping we would be getting names on the VA's, but oh well. :sad:
EDIT: Regarding gear 3: Will Luffy's entire body shrink down after this or only his arm? When we first saw gear three we only saw Luffy biting his thumb, and then the iron door being blasted apart. Since the door was a static object it could be that Luffy also pumped air into other parts of his body in order to cushion and stabilize his body, thus causing his whole body to shrink.

So it was a variation of inflation all this time, allowing for his body to increase in size like a balloon, but at a specific area to make it seem like a giant...why didn't any of us realized that in the first place!?!?!? That...was...brilliant!!!! (and to think Luffy knew "Gomu Gomu no Fuusen" all this time...) I just wonder if this really is the end of Lucchi....
As for the others...why am I imagining the beginning of "Brand New World" all of a sudden?

i really hope that is the end of Luffy, is he coulld really take all of that with his Tekkai it'll just be dumb and to see Luffy use another 3rd Gear/Giant attack would just be painful.
Should be exciting to see what Zoro comes up with in regards to getting them through the tunnel.
Anyone else find it hilarious that the Giants could get from the front of the island to the back in less than a minute but to go the other way it seems to be taking them half an hour?

I don't think Lucci's gone yet. You can see him guarding from the attack, if you look closely. I think he'll Geppou up and then the next chapter'll be the end.
