This is a very great show. Anyone heard of it, some might call it a GTO copy, but it's not, both are completely different. The thing I love most about this show is how it mixes many genres perfectly into one, comedy, real life problems, drama, all perfectly.

I'd have to say my favorite episode was "The class trip into Hell Begins" that one was a lot of fun.

I wish I could read the manga though, but it hasn't been translated though. :sad:

Like GTO, it also has a live action drama, which I don't…really think fits. Yamaguchi seems so...weak...and she's supposed to be tough.

I gotta be honest…I saw the opening and thought it was an anime about marathon running or cross country.

I know the actual story behind it, but that's just what I thought of the opening.

When I first read the manga, I couldn't stop reading ushi scanlated it until they closed down the group It was great group, too You can get v1 to the middle of v4 there.

Ha. When I first saw the opening, and I kept seeing Fuji (the dog) I was like…"Hmm is the dog mystical or something...?"

At first I didn't like the art, but I soon came to appreciate it.

Oh and I'll have to check out the manga.

Ah, so that was the name of the comic about a female teacher! It was pretty fun read, I recall.

Definately try it. Number 1 is the one of the most enjoyable episodes in my opinion.

Hmm…first do you have movie channels on your cable/sattelite?

If so, it's on Encore WAM.

If you don't, I would say try to find a torrent, those I think are your best shots.

Discovered this on Encore the other day.

I like it a lot. Kumiko is pretty awesome. Any anime with a chick who kicks that much ass=win.

How so? What's original to you?

what's original is when you're not able to anticipate each and every scene of the first episode of an anime by just knowing the main story. which is what happened to me with gokusen ep 1. but maybe ep 2 will surprise me.

it was still enjoyable, though.

Hey, at least you enjoyed it. That comment made me think you didn't like it because it was predictable.

i finally watched the series. it was pretty fun and a good show to watch when you just want to relax. after the predictable ep 1, the following was all good. but i think they should have made 26 eps, with some stories going on for 2 or 3 eps, but well, that's it.

I definately agree with that. After "The class trip into Hell" I definately wanted to see more than just 13 episodes…

ok, found some good direct links to the 8 first volumes of the manga and the translation is still on going ^_^

gotta check if it goes further than the anime, because the good stuff might be in there
