i really want to do some anime shopping online. problem is, i dont know of any REALLY good websites. everywhere i go, its mostly: Inuyasha, Naruto (😠 ) Evangelion, Trigun, and any other popular anime. I rarely find any good places to shop for One Piece items. Does anyone know of a really good place to shop? I guess mainly for One Piece, but also a place where they sell a LARGE variety of things for anime. I see some of peoples rooms through the 'Post yer Pic' thread and i wonder how people get so much One Piece things.

One more thing: can anyone tell me if this website ( http://cartoon-passion.stores.yahoo.net/index.html ) is ok to order from. Something from them doesnt feel right, but maybe its just me….....

      thanks.

That site gives me the feeling that some small company, with no money for a web designer owns it. I trust big companies like E-bay or Royal Bank. You know they're reputable. this itsy bitsy nobody company, you don't know whether to trust them or not.

I'd say if you want to know if a site is ok or not, is to ask someone who has had experience buying from them. Hense, your posting here asking for reputable sites is a good idea. Unless it is a giant corperation. They're going to be safe, cause they can't aford to loose clients to their big company over a bad web site.

Also, it could be that some people are lucky enough to live in an area with a large Asian comunity, and actual stores to go buy stuff. (since OP is more popular to comunities outside the USA) Me for instance; I live close to Toronto Canada. I bought a shit load of HK subs there last summer. It's how I got into OP. There's lots of merchandice there too, but I'm picky with what I buy, and have no money for extra goodies.

Sorry to say, I don't have any websites to suggest, but I know someone posted a cosplay web site a while ago. probably in the creativity forum.

Ebay, Amazon.com for the Viz manga and dubbed DVDs, Akadot retail for Shonen jump and some of the Japanese manga, I'll tell you this because I'm kind but…On Ebay if you find the user mkbooks2003 on Ebay he sells One Piece and lots of other Japanese manga for only a couple of dollars, and they're in great condition. Plus love the sig. ^^

Edit: That website looks terrible. Don't buy from it. You can never trust those small, unknown selling companies. The web design isn't very good either. Just an enlarged pic of FF: AC. I wouldn't go to websites like that...But then again that website could be a reliable source or buying things. But just incase I wouldn't buy from there.

You can find some cheap dvds at

            http://www.deepdiscountdvd.com/

But it might not have the selection you are looking for. I've ordered there several times though. I've also ordered from Amazon.

Hmmm… let's see ... animaxis.com has the best deals for imported manga, but the shipping is real pricey. Try animegamers.com where the manga is $5.10 each. That's where I got my OP stuff. ^_^ 42 is out there.

EDIT- These aren't main shops for OP but they have quite a lot of merchandise of the anime.

HobbyLink Japan for the win. :E

Animaxis was cool 'cause I got my favorite OP shirt there (I've got more than one) but I think maybe I bought out the last one they had 😆

I use Roberts Anime Corner Store for Region 1 stuff, Sasuga Japanese Bookstore for import manga, and CD Japan for import DVDs.
