Mako, the voice actor for Uncle Iroh from "Avatar" and Aku from "Samurai Jack" Passed away on Friday of cancer.

I don't think anyone will be able to replace him on A:TLA. He WAS Iroh. He's definately gonna be missed

When I heard about this earlier I was heartbroken.
And this means Avatar will have to find a new voice actor for Iroh. Not an easy task, his voice was so perfect.

Duuuuuuude, he's a massively influetial thesp. You know he's Gendy's favorite actor, hence his work in Samurai Jack. He was in a TON of films if you check out his filmography including the Conan films.
One of those heroes of cinema that get little credit.

I don't watch Avatar but I loved Samurai Jack.
One voice I loved most from any cartoons on Cartoon Network was Aku's…..god this is awful. I wonder if Jack will ever get a new season and if it does what they will do bout Aku....maybe this will just be another reason not to bring Samurai Jack back.
Yeah both Conans and many more other great moives and shows (man he was even in MAS*H ) and was also supposed to voice Splinter in the new TMNT next year. Sad so sad.:cwy::cwy:
