what do you guys think will happen to us if OP ends? In a way of these fun discussions. Will we feel sad or happy? will there ever be another anime that is adventurous as OP? will we abandon this forum or not? i am now predicting my outcome….XD

Considering that Oda has no idea when it will end, I wouldn't worry about that now.
I worry about that now. It seems like so many people who used to be regulars, are never around anymore. (I miss them)
For now, I'm only hoping that I will live see OP end…when the day comes, I will be ready.^^

I'll probably be both happy, and kind of upset about such a great thing ending (like it was today, when I read Volume 28 of Ruroken). I'm fairly sure the end of OP isn't in the near future however…

The people that are here for the ending will all talk bout how there's SOMETHING MISSING and go on for months bout it, until its slowly dies out, being forgotten in the minds of millions…how sad
unless Oda does an Oda ending and totally gives the BEST ENDING EVER! Then people will laugh, and will cry, and millions of fan fiction will be made everywhere!

Either that or embrace some other series, or wait for the next great work of Oda. I don't know, I always figured he'd keep writing stuff after One Piece. Maybe not. Don't know.

I think because of the way that one piece is (lots of arcs in one big arc) it seems one piece can go on forever, and hopefully oda has a child that he can teach the ways of creating one piece story's, and it will be passed down from generation to generation never ending 
Internet dies. Millions of unknown people will be seen in the streets and parks talking about armageddon, the last day. And everything comes to normal, when Oda's next masterpiece comes. That's so easy.
But I hope that the end of OP is the mother of all endings.

Oh yeah, I'll probably watch and read it from the beggining. When I really got into One Piece, the dub was at Ace so I started reading it from Ace, so I have absolutely no idea what happened in like anyone's past except Luffy's because I read the first VIZ volume a while ago. And I started watching at Water 7, with some various random episodes from other points in time for no reason. And some of the movies. Yeah, I'll probably read it all the way through and then watch it. And then sob knowing it's really over.
Nothing to me really. Which is why I must find many other interst to explore. After One Piece ends I will still be around, editing AP, doing my everyday lifestyles. I'll be sad if One Piece ends but due to an obessession decline on OP, I won't freak out because I can still collect OP manga.
I've done this with Digimon, I keep visting the Magchan Digimon board untie someone bans me and refuse to answer my qustions so I let my selfishness carry me away. In 2002, the board was close down and I lost so many interst in Digimon and I'm still alive and kickin' so the same will happen after OP ends.
Here's a helpful tip: Whatever ya do, don't put One Piece in your top focus, find some other interst and keep yourself busy with everyday chores. Be prepared when One Piece ends :grins:

Erm… I dunno about fans in general but when One Piece ends I don't think it'll affect me much. Yeah, whenever a series that I've been following ends I feel a little depressed but it lasts all of about five seconds. I mean, at the end of the day, it's just a comic. Right?

Same here.
When DB ended for me I decided to read some of the series that were inspired by it, i.e. One Piece and Naruto. Perhaps One Piece will inspire new hits, and if so I'll probably check them out.
I'd just move on to Oda's next creation.

When OP ends, we will probably have a chat party. Then we go home and just live on.
I'll probably continue writing fanfiction for awhile after it ends, but I'm afraid that I'll have forgotten about it within a year or so.
Something will eventually make me remember 'the good ol' days' and I'll find myself catching up on several years' worth of fan creations. I'll probably end up dropping back in here, too, only to post for a few days and then fade off again.
That'll probably come and go in waves…

Well i been reading One Piece for Two years, my god two years just past and i hardly noticed!
And by the way things are going, I think the series will end in 5-7 years. Or it could take even longer. I think after i will read the last chapter, i will go into the kitchen, get a bottle of Rum/Wisky/Jin and start drinking and thinking "It is over, the greatest story told be a human is over" then i will give a toast to Oda, the man that gave us a story that sould never be forgotten!
I think for some time i will feel something is missing.
I've only been into it for over a year…not saying it ain't interesting, in fact, I love it. Just saying that I won't be all devastated like I lost my best friend or something. When it ends, all stick around places like here for a bit, then I'll probably move on with life. I just hope it gets wrapped up a lot neater than DB did.
We'll be wondering why that happened. (That is some unexpected event that happened at the end of the story, or any plotholes)

Dudes, my friend Trisha has been telling people that her religion is "One Piece, Zoro sect" since like 2003. (I worship at the altar of the allmighty Ace myself.) We call it the "Love and One Piece" religion. All you have to do to be a member is to spread Oda's message of awesome pirate action to the masses.
Well when One Piece ends, and if Viz continues to be in business then there'll still be a little less than a decade for them to catch up on (since that's about how far behind Japan they are)
So When One Piece ends, hopefully we can continue reading it, only this time in English and with official translations.
And after that…...well hopefully by the time it ends I'll have a family and a job and such, that way I can have somethign else to focus on.

We'll all be crying wishing it never ended. Then we'll all go out and buy all the One Piece merchandise we can find and watch/read the whole series start to finish in a day. But I think AP forums will still be here to appreciate those memories we will all keep from the great Manga/Anime, One Piece.
Edit: I'll leave the Internet. All other great manga's will end. Which means no need to discuss/read or watch them. Msn will get boring. So i'll be a loner living on deviantART, listening to The Game and talking to random people on a horrible IM.
