ONE PIECE COLORING BOOK! for you!!

that's right.

i went to bookoff last week after AX is over, and found a ONE PIECE COLORING BOOK. so i scanned all the pages, since i figured there are a few people out there who want to practice coloring with photoshop but doesn't have good, clean, high resolution one piece scans that are only outline.

this zip is 25MB big, they're about 2000x3000 pixels in size, scanned at 300dpi, and leveled. 32 pages total. the scenes are from the davybackfight arc, including some aokiji stuff in there.

We went again on 4th with Aku-Tenshi crew XD We're BookOff crazy people. If he was going to scan this, I should've given those One Piece YAOI doujins that HE WANTED to scanlate so I have less stuff to take care… ... x.x Damn yaoi artist... >.>

Sadly my scanner doesn't work so I can't show the ones that I have done…hmm..I haven't touched that book in a while now, I should get back to it.

I colored one of your pics! I started coloring another picture of yours a while back but didn't finish it. Much easier than my own drawings which I have to completely copy over to a new piece of paper on a lightbox and then ink.

Whoever drew the pictures for these coloring books probably weren't clean from the start, and/or they probably just copied off character sheets. These are made for the sole purpose of being simple and easy to color. The pictures themselves are bland and slightly awkward looking in some cases (Ao Kiji looks wierd). And then there's that wierd picture where Chopper is just floating beside Luffy, what's up with that? XD

It's ok e1n, I buy yaoi doujinshi too…and I'm not sexually attracted to men either (unless you are...:ninja:....XD;;)

Actually, recently, I just bought 10 One Piece Doujinshi...and I think more than half are SanZoro but...I didn't look before I bought XD;;; (RuNami is too hard to find $:\$ ...)

so I did some coloring in photoshop.

I don't think it's very good, though it makes for good practice. for years I've been saying "I can't color do light and shadow, I can't." And then today, I went and did it okay.

really pretty. I love the color scheme you used. though, something is bothering me with nami's eyes. the way you colored them, doesn't match up with the rest of the picture. can't say for sure what is wrong. for sure though. Just trying to give some constructie critisism.

Actually, the eyes are one thing I love about the coloring.

I always do eyes like that. It's a…thing.

I don't really like the eyes. It screams shiny....and in contrast, the amount of details I put into the eyes is never consistent with everything else for some reason.
