It appears that the difference between normal and gear 2 are immense. Normal Luffy seems to be somewhat behind normal Lucchi but gear 2 is pummeling his leopard form

Awesome chapter. The Zoro/Kaku scene, Robin's pathetic state, the Lucci/Luffy fight starting for good, and Captain Speedos to the rescue… Simply awesome.

Look at Lucci! He took Super Hammer while standing still and didn't even budge at all! That's how strong his Tekkai is! And thanks god Luffy is immune to Shigan, or else that rapid Shigan could've killed him.

Awesome chapter, thanks BF by the way looks like Luffy's Jet attacks are doing serious damage to Lucci's Leopard Mode, and I don't know if its me or is it that Lucci in leopard mode lost sight of Luffy with his speed in Gear 2?

No stupid tricks. No growing extra arms. No lighting of legs on fire. Just pure raw power was used to break tekkai. That's how it should go. This fight's shaping out to be the best one yet.

i don' think the fight will end next chapter because it's not going to be dramatic enough. all luffy's fight always end in some dramatic way. unless the buster get's there really quick next week and start blowing up the island then i might expect it to end but i doubt it. im guessing next chapter luffy and lucci will beat each other up good and the final pages will be the buster call finally arriving and start shooting cannons at the island. the chapter after that will have lucci and luffy fighting it out as the island is getting destroyed and we will probably see some of robin and what usopp is doing. the luffy and lucci fight will probably end once robin is free and usopp did what he wanted to do and they will escape in the nick of time through the gate of justice. with that said i think this arc still has about 10-12 chapters left. oh anybody think blueno is going to wake up soon? he was the first guy taken out so he is going to be the first one to wake up and will be the one that saves all the knocked out cp9 guys and his door powers are going to come in handy.

This has to be one of the best chapters of the arc alongside robins past. Lucci seems really pissed at the moment, kaku….this is why I said in the beggining he's my fave...the guy gets beaten and still has a laugh about it and the thing he said about it not being easy to quit and zoro's reply about a zoo and then saying sorry was really nice. Luffy's gear seemed like a whole other level and his stance was brilliant I hope next chapter robin gets set free and usopp and nami reaches.

Thanks Battle Franky. God that was an awesome chapter. I'm looking forward to seeing it scanlated soon and animated in the future…. even if it probably isn't going to look as great but still. Luffy vs. Lucci has got to be the best fight ever IMO.

So finally Lucci VS Luffy went somewhere. That's what I was hoping that confrontation would have been from the get-go but better late than never. I'm also very happy there was no f****** color spread. Let's see, Robin, Sanji and Zoro for certain are left. Merry and Franky possibly??

Very nice chapter. I hope Luffy "finishes off" Lucci and then Cocoro and Chimney will show up with Chopper and somehow, through the miracle of Oda's writing, Lucci will get his beaten claws on three Rumble Balls.

That Shigan Ohson that Luchi did was the coolest looking Shigan yet, kinda like Luffy's Gattling Gun. It's nice to see that Luffy's Gear 2 is plenty to handle Leopard mode. Jet Bazooka beating Leopard Tekkai kicks ass. Let's just hope Luffy can keep it up for a few more chapters.

Aw man. I don't know why, but every chapter with Franky since we got to Enies Lobby just makes me want him to join more and more.

Anyway. regarding the chapter, we're getting close to the end, and I hope Luffy/Lucci fight goes out with a ban…or should I say DON? It was also cool to see Kaku gave a laugh sans the fact that the ass kicking he had gotten was well deserved. As Greg said it's going to be a long week. Although I must ponder a few things. Where are Noseopp and Nami? What if anything can defend against a Buster Call? Will anymore unexpected twists occur (The return of the Battle Frankys against the Buster Call lead by Iceburg? Baroque Works and Straw Hats? Dragon comes out of nowhere and does nothing?)?
