[ADC-Elites] One Piece 196-200 (G8 part 1)

Here's the G8 arc subbed from episode 196 to 200 for your viewing pleasure Part 2 (201-206) is coming really soon, since it's already translated and everything. We were supposed to release this a bit earlier, but we got some problem with the uploading at some points ^^'

We know Kaizoku-Fansubs are almost there, we know this may be considered as stepping on their toes. We are also aware that they'll release the eps in better quality (.mp4). We are only releasing these episodes so that people who still didn't see the G8 arc can watch it and move forward. That's why we agreed on removing these episodes from the bittorrent tracker and from our IRC bots as soon as K-F finish releasing their version. Same for direct download if we put one.

There are some problems with the tracker at the moment, but if everything works well the episodes should be on [ADC]Xeon now and on [ADC]Leha in a couple of minutes.

K-F skipping episodes? Nooo!!!! I will always download K-F's version as they're encoding it in higher quality. But thanx to ADC for the nice surprise! Hope you'll release the 2nd part (and subsequent episodes too) very soon!

Xeon is supposed to be seeding it, but Wickio messed up making the .torrent so I need to redo it X_x I'm getting the files off Xeon's bot. Getting extra speeds so they should finish in 15 mins. Then I'll learn how to make a .torrent, send it to Xeon and hopefully he's replace the old one with it. Thanks for your patience ^^'

K-F won't skip episodes because of this ^^' The video quality on this is far from k-f's as each file is a tiny 170/180 .avi. Plus, the raws had interlacing problems or something so Wickio has to sort it out and it came off weirdly. But it seems I'm the only one to mind since RHomb and Wickio don't really see the difference.

And G8 is pretty good for a filler… eheh

well I thought Apis was good too, and that Daddy the Father one… I didn't like the Alabasta filler though... Apis ruled and that was before I knew it was filler too so maybe IM being too judgemental about it. It's just after goatsex and mystic rainbow or... whatever that was XD Im not too excited about filler

Liked Apis!? O_o Damn… Well, I kinda half enjoyed the rainbow one too... Wasn't that bad. And Apis was... supportable. As for G8... I don't think I'll be able to watch it ever again after spending so many hours working on it. Fed up with fillers for now

Well I mean… I didn't even nkow what filler WAS at the time I watched it, I did notice it started out slow and some parts dragged on, but I was impressed with it... and that poor dragon ;__;... I hate that fat guy but loved it when Luffy cut his ship in half =D

Unlike other countries, Japan barely air reruns of shows.

Nop, we're done subbing earlier eps. BalF did it anyway and I don't wanna do something like G8 ever again. Because of some… problems in the team we had to stop at some point then resume the project again, hence losing a lot of time and having to rush. And with a dead line and everything... We had to do a lot of eps in a small amount of time.

And I prefer fillers over reruns. Better than having nothing ^^'

That being said... Know we will stay with latest One Piece as our main project. We shall not sub other earlier episodes of OP, but will do movie 7.
For those who worry about PoT, the project isn't stalled. We need to get things sorted out with raws and blablabla, but Rhombus should start timing soon and hopefully I'll get enough courage to translate it. Currently watching earlier episodes of PoT... Those kids are so annoying... And all of this doesn't mean we don't have any other project in mind

Alright, back to subject.

It's fucking awesome! They have fillers because the authors of a serie sometimes require more time to work on the bigger items. The G8 arc was only brought in so Oda could work furthers on the Water 7 arc.

Mariejoa is not the Marine HQ, as you can see here. Mariejoa is the Holy Land where the Gorousei rule over the World Govt, and it's probably located on half of the Grand Line on the Red Line, and that's the only place to return safely from the Grand Line to the 4 oceans, without crossing Calm Belt.
