THE drugs watchdog of the United Nations has rebuked the UK government's policy change on cannabis, saying it sent a confusing message to young people.

Yep, total bullshit. I'd like to see the UN provide evidence of how pot is actually lethal to anyone. You would need to literally smoke a field of pot at once to even come close to ODing on it.
Do they even realize why dealers have been raising the potency of cannabis ? It's so they have less to carry and thus less hassle to smuggle in – purely a result of the idiotic war on drugs. Its addictive properties are next to nothing compared to nicotine and heroin (the latter being dangerously so. ever see Requiem for a Dream ?). What a load of crock.
What SHOULD be up on that list instead is alcohol. You want to talk about a poison for the body, that's it right there x_x

I believe the current amount of Pot needed is your body weight but I'm not 100% on that, and besides the pot would kick in before you could smoke all the pot

Meh, Reefer Madness is a pretty bad movie. Has a few hilarious parts, "alleged drug-induced rape and murder" but overall boring.
I smoked weed in high school, and I never shown any risk of dieing because of it. Maybe because of the stupid things I done afterwards when I was high.
Drugs are a bad thing but spending millions of dollars on them to say that is alot worse.

yea but it takes far less alcohol to get you severly fucked up compared to weed (I think that was his point)

I think it was said that its "good" to drink 2 glasses of alcohol (I think they particularly specified red wine or wine, not sure) a day. But you dont just drink 2 glasses of alcohol when youre trying to get drunk, do you? XD
And most people dont drink to get healthy, they drink to get wasted.

Do they really think people are going to believe that after all these years? However, I certainly don't condone the use of pot because it tends to make people lazy and listless. It stays in your system a lot longer than alcohol does.

A glass, sure, but alcohol is far more addictive, the effects don't kick in immediately so you start drinking more and more to get drunk faster, thus your liver is laden w/ alcohol and you have poisoning ! Swell. Compared with weed which has practically nil physical side effects and can't KILL you…

Saying pot is deadly is like saying you can't get drunk after drinking a lot of hard liquor. It's just not true. I would not recommend the smoking of pot, or anything, but pot is still a healthier drug than both cigarettes and alcohol.
I'm pretty sure all the 'legal' drugs are worse for you then Pot
