I have to say iv'e been really entertained by the ennies lobby chapters the ones i didn't like are the jyabura/sanji ones because it just seemed jyabura totally forgot that he's an assassin and turned into a puppy I mean he's a six for user and only used about 2 of the six in the fight, for meit just didn't match up with the formidable view I had of him alongside kaku and lucci. I loved the nami chapters but hated the stalling around kalifa playing around especially with the ever so important taking a bath.
Why Oda???

Assuming we are reading the same manga, Jyabura used 5 forms, all of them but Kamie. We have not seen Kaku, Luchi, Kumodori, or Kalifa use Kamie yet, so saying he didn't have a "formidable view" when the 2 you compared him to haven't used that particular technique yet either isn't a good arguement.

Don't bother Welkin, some people are just Sanji bashers and will find any and all excuse to not like him, since the flame foot discussion has died down, now we're bashing his opponent. "Zomg Jyabura was a nub lolz." Basically unless Oda goes back in time and has Ussop defeat Jyabura (because you know, in that case people would never say he only used 2 forms) and Sanji fight Spandaman to prove he's the weakest strawhat people will not be satisfied. Just don't bother.
I believe Zoro will use the bent sword technique next chapter, possibly with Oni Giri to finish off Kaku.

Eh, you go with that RuNa. I don't really feel like "explaining" things in a thread that didn't make sense to begin with (no offense, but I just really don't feel like debating anything here).

Neither do I, thank you. Just stating my opinion
-
It also makes sense for a Doctor to be weaker than the sniper, the cook to be weaker than the sniper, the carpenter (soon to be) to be weaker than the sniper…......except you know, they arn't (physically).
Nah, not really. A sniper must have a good aim and such, he doesn't have to be physically strong.
-

Indeed :)
But I just love to say that Sanji is weaker than Zoro :) some Sanji fans go all crazy then :P
-
you can always say that they are all strong; and like sanji said, some are better suited for some kind of opponents and the others are stronger against another type of opponent :o
There! no war about who's stronger than who ! -
Nah, not really. A sniper must have a good aim and such, he doesn't have to be physically strong.
AH but you know…the gun...is heavy...and the sniper has to lift...and....yea.. :(
Still doesn't matter though. Dreams aside, they all have responsibilities in the crew which means they will all be strong anyway. Look at Robin :\stares at Silveril's avvy
-
Nah, not really. A sniper must have a good aim and such, he doesn't have to be physically strong.
That's true.
I don't think the problem lies with whether snipers are supposed to be strong. Look at the snipers in other pirate crews. Chew is a kan bu (officer) alongside Hatchan and Kuroobi. Yasopp is also a respected guy within his crew although we haven't seen much of what he can do in the manga. Van Auger is assumed to be good by most of you here. I think it is the image problem here. Usopp does not live up to that image yet.
Then again, I am sure he will, some day. That's when the series ends i guess.

Um, first of all, Kumadori is one of the WEAKEST of CP9. So even iff (That was no a typo) Chopper could harm him without upgrades, that does not necessarily mean he is stronger than Sanji who fought one of the most powerfull members.
Besides, WHEN is the last time we've seen Sanji developed…? I'm actually pleased Oda is paying more attention to him, giving him knive-skills and all.

Although what you say is logical, what I want ask is what exactly is your point?
-
My point is that Chopper broke the tekkai of a WEAKLING and Sanji had trouble breaking the tekkai of one of the most POWERFULL members. Therefore, everyone should stop bitching.
-
So yeah, um… is there a point to this thread anymore? >_>;

Kumadori is not a weakling. He's just….weaker then Jyabura--probably. :getlost:
I mean, how can we be sure that tekkai is that different among CP9 members? I always got the impression that the typical roushiki technique are more or less the same amoung the CP9 members, I mean can anyone see a difference in the ways each member uses soru? It's always a little dot of lines.

Chopper could barely break Tekkai with his strongest attack. Sanji never used his strongest attack against Jyuabra. Do you really think that Oda would make Chopper strongesr than Sanji? Chopper lost the fight, remember.

BS! Chopper threw that guy across the island! And he definitely broke Kumadori's strongest tekkai with his strongest attack. Not barely. Barely wouldn't leave those hoove imprints in! And he would have broken the normal tekkai just as easy will his arm point. Arm point Chopper is probably equal in strength to Sanji, though it's a given that it's not possible for Sanji to lose in 3 minutes.
Don't separate Monster Chopper from Chopper. If Chopper wanted to, he could have just eaten 3 rumble balls at the start, but didn't from fear of what would happen to his friends, and maybe Kumadori.
And yes, Sanji did kind of break tekkai without his strongest attack.
Also, the possibilty that Sanji will always be stronger then Chopper isn't set in stone. I mean, I always hope that one day Usopp would be able to compete with someone of Sanji's level, all the SHs are getting stronger. Will Sanji always be the 3rd strongest SH. Who knows.
-
Alright, fine, he broke it. But he couldn't KO Kumadori with it, and lot.
And he COULD have broken Tekkai with arm point, but they were fighting, and he didn't, because he ran out of time. That was part of the fight. And I separate Chooper and Monster, because even Oda did. He changed the Title from Chopper vs. Kumadori, to Monster vs. Kumadori. That, and The Monster and Chopper are like two completely different things, so I wouldn't call it Chopper.
And no, it didn't break Tekkai. kaku said that it NEARLY broke Tekkai. And that was just on the sea train. other than that, Sanji never broke it without his leg thing.
And Chopper as a whole, Arm Point and all, is not equal to Sanji. Again, see Skypiea for details. And don't say, "Nami never saw Chopper fight", because she also hadn't seen Robin fight at all, and she still placed her higher.
Anyways, I don't want to get into this, AGAIN, so just forget it.

It's tough for me to ignore this, Chopper by far isn't the strongest SH but he's getting less credit then he deserves. Nami isn't the decider on who''s the strongest in the crew. How do we know that Nami just didn't have a weakness for Chopper's cuteness? Chopper is always more timid around Nami, because he's seen her beat up the stronger SHs.
Speaking of Skypiea, Gedatsu. I've been wondering, how strong are his jet punches compared to Sanji's kicks? Equal, less, or a lot more?
Anyway, I've always believed that Oda had left enough room in the SHs strength that, in a way, they're all equal in strength:
Luffy vs. Zoro was never decided, nor was Zoro vs. Sanji.
Nami is considered the weakest SH, yet always beats on the stronger male (I know, this is an often used cliche)
Chopper now has a Monster transformation of an undetermined strength.
And Usopp now has his dials, and his recent fight with Luffy.
I think Oda is trying to keep the "who would beat who" among the SHs up in the air. There's plenty of room for speculation.
-
Kenechi. As politely as possible, why. Does. It. Matter? o-o
Kumadori is not a weakling. He's just….weaker then Jyabura--probably.
In comparison, he could be considered a "weakling." Kind of like comparing the power of a shotgun to a bazooka, and having that shotgun be attacked by a racoon. Or something like that. :/
-
Heh, it doesn't matter at all, but I just felt like saying it.

Um, well, okay then. Soooo I say it again… does this post have a point anymore? >_>;
-
I think this thread is basically meant to complain about bad decisions that Oda has made.
-
Or what they think are bad decisions made by Oda? :/
-
Jyabura may have more douriki points than Kumadori.. But Kumadori is definitely cooler ><
-

Eh, they're kind of one and the same.

Yeah…you know, I wonder how accurate douriki really is. And what do you think about the theory that Life Return can aid in healing?

I wasn't in this forum for long, but is Chopper always getting less credit than he deserved, at least in this forum?
Anyway I nv like the fact that Oda uses "Monster vs Kumadori" instead of "Chopper vs Kumadori" as the title for chpt 408. But that's just me, being bias and all. I do find it odd that Franky later on said this line in chpt 413:
Stephen's tranlation
< <franky: don't="" you="" want="" to="" save="" nico="" robin?!!<br="">< <chopper: i="" dooooo!!!<br="">Franky: …well, anyways,
he DID manage to knock out one of CP9…
I guess, as a favor to your pals who still stuck up for you after what you turned into,
I can forgive ya for attacking me…And who makes Franky say that? Oda. Perhaps Oda intended this to be open ended. Whether Chopper had won that fight or not is up to individual's interpretation. To me, Chopper won that fight.
Back to topic. I agree that Sanji is stronger than Chopper in terms of fighting, at this point of the story at least. (Off topic) But still Chopper deserves credit for taking out Kumadori by himself. Every SH deserves credit for defeating a CP9er, even if the CP9er has low doukiri. Otherwise only Luffy deserves credit becos he fought and won a 4000 doukiri guy. What is fighting Jab or Kaku compared to that?</chopper:></franky:>
