First of all I want to say that while I am excited about this movie, I have recently found out something about it that pisses me off. Here's the Wikipedia article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Power_of_the_Dark_Crystal.
So anyhow, I'm glad that Gendy is directing it and all, but I have one major gripe about it: why the fuck is he reviving the urRu, Skesis and Garthim in this movie? It was made clear at the end of the first movie that the urRu and Skesis reunited to become the Urshek and left the planet. The Garthim were destroyed. It pisses me off that Gendy is fucking up the continuity and reviving those characters! As cool as they were, and I do love the original Dark Crystal, it seems to me that Gendy is trying to rehash the original with a small, but cool, twist.
Sorry guys, but I'm fan of Dark Crystal and I was hoping Gendy wouldn't do anything to fuck up its wonderful story.

It looks okay. I saw the Dark Crystel movie back in 1994, ah brings good memories but I'm suprised that that movie was a 1982 movie. Why did I not notice that movie back then?
I'm looking foward to this movie.

wow, now i'm excited. dark crystal was amazing and i hope they'll keep the puppets, they added a really strange mood to the movie.
