Who is going to Anime Boston? I ask because I am going. That means I will have a camera to take pics for the cosplay section. But taking pics of board members. I will be there the Sat and possibly (but not likely) Friday also. I will have a t-shirt that says EVILGAMERX on it. So you would be an idiot to not know who I am if you see me.

I can't decide whether to go or not.
I don't really have anyone to go with. And I've never been to a convention before, so I think I'd feel out of place.
On the other hand, it could be a lot of fun.

Which is the best day to go?

I say go. Usually I choose Saturdays. That is when I am going. I never been to Anime Boston, so I don't know which day is better.

This year's Anime Boston is going to be different, though, because it's in an actual convention center. The last two were in a hotel. (yes, I was there for the first two)

I'm going, but only for Friday and Saturday, likely. Why? Because the stupid convention is the first weekend of my college finals week!!!

Hellz yes!! Went last year but I could only get into the dealers room. I'm thinking having my friend going in as nico robin regular or Miss All Sunday. You should see her she looks just like robin!! I'll post a pic later.

You should go Vilda! The best part is seeing all the people dressed up. And if you cant find the location just follow the cosplayers they usually are going in the right direction. (I did that last year)

I'll be making an appearance again, been both years.. I can't wait.. Now if I could just finish my cosplay.. I might have to wear my One Piece cosplay on Saturday.. Gonna go as Hotaru from Sailor Moon on Friday..oo I hope you guys come! I'd love to see you guys^^

I dunno. I should find out. Hell, I may actually go Fri and Sat. One of my friends is staying at a friend's house who may have extra space.

sigh I want to go, and probably am (since I live in Mass.) but I have conflicting issues.

If I go then that means I miss the senior banquet for my college's Sci-Fi and Fantasy Society, not to mention our coughpeepsacrificecough both of which are really really fun.

But more than anything to me it would mean that I'm missing the last big events with all my friends who are a year older than me, and since I'll be in Japan next year, I won't spend their last year with them. Which really depresses me.

On the other hand I'm an anime nutcase, and am dying to see Anime Boston flourish in a real convention center. I'd like to be there for the first one. And a couple of my good friends are going.

GAH! I'll probably go, just with guilt.

But if you are in the mood for some theater while you're in Boston, check out Into the Woods at the New Repertory Theatre. It has nothing to do with anime, but that's where I'll be.

EDIT: I saw Sanji on the T on the way home tonight, as well as a bunch of other cosplayers. And a couple people with big TokyoPop shopping bags. I'm so jealous. I might try to get down to the convention center tomorrow morning. But that's a big "might." If I do get down there, I'll probably be wearing all black (I'll be going to work right after), accompanied by 13 year old boy (my brother), and probably spending my time and money in the dealer's room.

I put these in order of what I encountered. Some are blurry, so sue me, I didn't sleep the previous night so I couldn't concentrate or hold the camera good; my body was weak and tied.

man i must have been right next to you taking the group shots because i got some at the same time.
i dont think i can load images here because im low on the totem but if anybody wants them i got a group shot, an usop shot, a zorro and nami shot, a kuro shot, and an ace desert sanji and smoker shot
plus about 100 other pics from the weekend probly put them up on the net later when i have the time

dont know why i never joined the site earlier, just used it for OP update info mainly…........ ahhhhh well it was an awsome weekend!

is the Porche I love the pictures! :D Yes I was so giddy and happy to see someone recognized me. So many One Piece cosplayers but it seemed hardly anyone knew who I was. :( But when I was recognized it made me giddy and happy inside. :D Too bad the hat broke Friday, the ball was really heavy and the thing supporting it broke. Oh wells~ Anyway I love the picture!
