We switched the host (again) but hopefully everything is in order except the smilies, avatars, and forum banner. Those will be fixed when wanderer-zero wakes up…

hmmm, everyone check their time zones. it's 7.20 am here, yet ocean's post says he posted at 9:04am. that doesn't seem right.

Yea we know cthe lock is off. It has something to do with the server's clock.
There were some… issues we had and thus we had to change host.

Yeah, we're already aware of time is off, which we had exact same problem before, but the problem is, the new host's machine hosts bunch of site so he can't change the time so easily or else he throws off everyone else. We'll have some workaround eventually ^^;

The downtime didn't have to do with the host switch, did it? (or at least, not all of the downtime at any rate)
As for the host switch reason though, it's really nothing members need to worry about.

is it true that Wander-zero left as the forum administrator? Hopefully this move to change host will not effect the mods and other high ranking users on the forum, this is the first forum that I have been apart of which actually has order to it.

I believe oceanizer is technically the forum adminstrator now, as in, it's on his host. We're not sure what wz will be doing yet, we will update contact information for problems as soon as we do.
All other rankings should be exactly the same.

It's not on my host, but on my friend's. And I really don't think anything in administrative group or ownership has changed, for I believe the forum is everyone's. I will be the main guy (with help of some others) to take care things if the forum has any techincal issues, but that's about it.
We already had down time, and forum move started around 10:30pm last night and finished by 12am :]

I've noticed to get your avatar back up. You just have to repost it. I couldn't find the original source of my Xombie one so I got my old Batman one back up. I think it suits me just fine.

I'm still planning to reupload all the avatars as soon as wanderer-zero comes back online. If you upload it now, your avatar may be overwritten. Well, we'll see…

There was a message on the boards index last night. It was from WZ stating that hes quiting his adminship for Arlong Park forums and whoever gets the forum back up on a new server can handle things.

It seems that there's a slight problem with the order in which the posts show up, for ex here;

I posted after Tsugomaru yet my message is shown before his. There's also the same problem we had during the last server change when you click the submit button and nothing happens, you actually have to refresh the thread to see your post.

A minor thing I noticed was that the user thing at the bottom doesn't seem to update when the user has been inactive for 10 mins, lets just say Pass The Rootbeer, he has been inactive for about 5 hours now, and it still says he's online.

1 2 Jango, I'm not 100% sure, but probably those data are stored in somewhere, and we are seeing the data as of now, as well as data when I screwed up the calculation earlier. I wouldn't worry about it until tomorrow.
BatDan, I screwed up the time calcuation earlier, so whatever posted during that time will stay in the end of thread until around 9 or 10pm PST tonight.

It seems like since the forum came back, or perhaps since the offset of the clock was changed, I'm having a lot of problems with partial page loads… the top part of the page (the banner and the thread/section title box) will load, and then it will say "done". I'll have to refresh sometimes multiple times to get a full load. Anyone else seeing it?

I'm seeing a similar thing with CosmicDebris' profile. Her profile says she's offline even when she's online.

My user CP says remote avatar upload is disabled…wtf is that? Does that mean I have to download my avatar from Photobucket to this computer to upload it to AP? WTF!!!??

Yes, you can only upload avatars currently. Its really not a big deal, if you got the avatar onto your photobucket you had it on your computer at a time anyways.

IT'S A LION!, remote upload is disabled because it's not entirely saf,; or so I heard, so it is disabled. I was planning to upload everyone's avatars once I contact wanderer-zero, but since I am still unable to, maybe you guys will need to upload it manually... Please upload from your local computer if you do so. Thanks ^^

It seems like it comes and goes; I'll be fine for a few minutes, then I won't be able to get anything to finish loading for a few minutes.
It seems like it's better today than it has been in the last few days, but I think I've still had one or two problems today.

Haha, I love how people still reffere to it as "The White Screen of Doom". But I only got it ONCE and it fixed with a reload. Things are loading fine for me.

Another diagnostic factoid on the "pages that stop midway". They frequently end with a superfluous "0".

The partial page loading seems to be getting worse for me. I've even disabled all images, avatars, and signatures, but it doesn't seem to help.
But sometimes everything loads fine.
