My work has been doing the same for a while… I still prefer Windows 2000 πŸ˜› getting old for new technologies

A Microsoft application crashing? Well I never! ^o^

It looks nice and shiny but my question would be, what does it do better/differently?

No matter where you go, there you are.

Meh. It doesn't look too different from XP as far as I'm concerned. and I'm content with my XP.

the only thing that is different on Vista is the Start Menu theme. Which you could do to any XP with certain applications.

I'm not sure if you were serious or not but just incase, I highly doubt that.

Yes I was, besides the updates graphics for the icons and start menu/taskbar. Vista is just what ME was to the 98 series, an updated OS. Plain to point, the system will run like XP, if you want to purchase a new OS that runs just like XP then keep XP.

Both Vista and IE 7 look interesting, but I'm not sure if I'll switch from XP and FireFox to them any time soon.

I'll most definitely be switching to vista when it is released but no, still no IE =X

yea once all the bloody system error bugs are fixed in Vista service pack two, that is when I will purchase the OS to install.

I downloaded the beta version of IE 7 and can anyone else say "ripoff artist"? Hell IE version 7 looks like Firefox and Opera in a silver theme, how pathetic.

Also I was just stating on how it LOOKS almost the samee expect for a different task menu bar. I mentioned nothing aboot the actual features.

I heard a rumor of this, a new Windows Software is out, not yet for customers, tho.

Is this true? If so, please send the info and pics. I would like to know if this is true, and how will it work and look

                                          I've tried it, 5600 and 5728 builds

The driver support is a mess, especially the x86-64 version. Any OS which can't drive my TV card as well as Linux did in 1998 is NOT worth my money.
