Which character do you think in the series seems to be the most forgotten and ignored among people here? To be more specific, I mean a character who had done something significant and noteworthy, and yet, many people don't take much notice of them.
I think Satori is quite ignored among people… He was known for beating up Luffy, Sanji, and Usopp all by himself, and the battle stretched for quite a number of chapters before he finally fell. Still, not much is being talked of about him.
Wapol, I keep forgetting that whole arc even existed.
It wasn't because he was tough, he just trapped them. Just like how even if Zoro and Sanji went in the ship, Foxy still could've given them a run. Same with Mr. 3, who got his ass kicked easily outside of his trap.
Meh, Shanks could do a bit more to affect the series, but he's a major character already….I just want him to show up and kick some ass, meet up with Luffy, something....

Koby. I loved the way the anime developed his side-story. That made him become one of my favorite characters.
I can't wait to see the look on everyone's faces when/if he becomes a natural badass and takes on Luffy later on.
EDIT: T-Bone. How could I forget T-fucking Bone. He didn't last long, but his talk about justice shows how dedicated the marines can be.
I agree–I want to see more Mr. 9. It seems unlikely at this late date, but I keep hoping somehow he'll reappear. Everything about him--his personality, the whole "Baby" thing, his clothes and his fighting style--was hilarious.

Obviously, it's Gin. If it wasn't for him, Pearl would have killed Sanji and possibly hurt Luffy pretty bad. But Gin came out of nowhere, DISOBEYED A DIRECT ORDER FROM HIS ADMIRAL, Felt ASHAMED for his insolence, then TOOK OFF his gas-mask to save Luffy and Sanji. Despite all of this, Gin promises Sanji to see him and Luffy again at the Grand-line…
I also think Captain Morgan is pretty much ignored. He was funny, and it was HIM, not Arlong, that pulled me into the series.
Yeah, I agree that Morgan is pretty ignored. After a few big scenes in mini-arcs, he kind of vanished..
In retrospect, he was kind of cool.
Paulie is #1 in my mind. He kinda faded ever since they went on to the rocketman….

the guy in the first panel with the glasses. That guy for some reason is kickass and should have had a bigger role even tho he was in the background a lot

They have been background characters right from the start

Yeah Dragon and Paulie top my list; Dragon was cool (despite having a wird ass haircut) and Paulie's fighting style was unique and one of my favorites.
Truth be told though, I'd like to see a bit more Lulu action. He's pretty cool, and I'd of liked to see more of him. I still think that his name should be Tilestone, and Tilestone's name should be Lulu but…
I definitely agree that Dragon is one of the most ignored and forgotten characters. Some people who ask about him don't even remember his name! They just call him "the guy that saved Luffy in Loguetown" or something like that. Of course, the fact that he hasn't appeared much at all doesn't help his popularity. You would think that people would talk about him a little more considering the rumor of him having a wind logia.

Johnny and Yosaku.
If it weren't for them, Luffy would have never met Sanji, Zoro would have never had the motivation to fight Mihawk, and Nami possibly leaving the crew forever. With all that, Luffy would never have been to the Grandline.

Shura… He was cool as hell, but nobody mention him, and he actually fought 3 guys and won over 2 of them. And now when I think of it, Wiper too... He was also cool.
Wiper was the arc's main character, he was played up well. Shura, however, was pretty dangerous, and people just thought of him as the annoying mustache guy.

Generally, I think all the Priests' deserved more screen time. They come off pretty dull when compared to the BW members and the CP9'ers.
A guy I really wanted to see more of, was professer Clover. He gave off the whole cool "Dumbledore" wibe, and deserved more personality and a more tragic death. Nero, Wanze Jerry and T-bone are others that come to mind; They neither was present for more than, what, 5 chapters?
Well there's Merry himself. Without him there wouldn't be a Going Merry but he hasn't even been given a cameo since his last appearance in chapter 41.
I'm probably the only person who liked Mr. 7 even if his role was pretty minuscule. I just loved how he and Miss Father's Day appear out of nowhere and pride themselves on their important role only to get knocked off the tower and never seen again.
How about Pearl, I liked his design ,and he was interesting. A pity no one actually likes him hahaha XD

Most igored character (and it´s good that it is like that) would be Pearl IMO. But then again he didn´t do anything significant to deserve any attention anyway.
Most overracted character among the fandom. Definitely Paulie! He´s cool and all, but largely overrated. 
Dalton has to be one ignored character. He never stood out to me.

Kohza….I love Kohza....but he is definately ignored....And Pell, too! ^_^ Johnny, Yosaku, Morgan.....a lot of the early background charas.

It might've been in terms of character designs. But there isn't much Gaimon can do anyway, since he's adamant on staying on the island.

Well Gaimon might be the one to help Luffy and Buggy be friends 
At least on the anime version of Little Buggy's adventure when Gaimon talks about Luffy and says Buggy and Luffy have much in common and would probably be good friends
But since that's more Toei then Oda so I guess Gaimon isn't going to appear anymore expect for maybe a ministory

Oda said that Gaimon is his favorite character to draw, right? So it would make sense that he would have drawn him a lot and would continue to do so. . . so maybe he has been sketching out future chapters?
I agree totally that the chances of Gaimon having a major impact on any more of the storyline is slim to none (since he is trapped in a box and refuses to leave the island, he's not exactly going to be able to do much) but I just find it kind of strange that he would pick a character he only drew for a chapter or two as his all-time favorite to draw.
It's also entirely possibly that Gaimon just happens to be the character Oda doodled all over his math homework in high school.
Come to think of it mohji is pretty ignored.
