I'd recomend hitting the manga. The whole middle part is a lot different/ better.

Most angsty fan ever award goes to… .... .....
! despite having the ending SPOILED yea it was incredibly freakin cheesy, the bad guy just turned good again, omg 2 white kakugane's huge shock, my favorite was papillion-sama bit. Overall series is like a 5.5/10, definitely not watching again any time soon.

I don't think the series was THAT bad but the ending was just weird and the thing with Victor doesn't make sense at all :wassat:

! Bravo is just fine in the manga also.
Regarding the fanservice, I believe they may have been an interesting scene cut from the anime. I haven't watched in a while, but Wikipedia implies this.

I read Vol 4 where the bath scene took in the manga but in the manga they only show the guys! the girls had tea, in episode 9 of the anime they show the females bath and the guys bath,but i do like the other Fanservices

Saw the first few eps. of the anime and got bored, plus the butterfly dude immediatly turned me off from the series.
How is the manga compared to anime? If the manga is better I might consider getting into it again.BTW is Tokiko the chick with the V. Skirt? If so why need fanservice when one could just imagine anothe use for her….tentacle thing....

ViZ has licensed the Buso Renkin anime in the U.S. Only two voices we've gotten so far are Spike Spenser as Papillion and Liam O'Brien as Okakura. Liam would be a good Okakura, but I'm having trouble seeing Spike as Papillion.

Wait, isn't Spike the guy who voices the wimp characters in anime(Shinji, Hanatarou, etc}? Because papillon sounds more effeminate than wimpy imo.

Well, he played Shioji the pedophile on Excel Saga if that counts. He is good for wimpy, whiney characters but I can see him pulling off the effeminate voice.

Tara Platt's playing Tokiko. I don't know who is playing Kazuki yet but I want either Johnny Young Bosch or they get Liam O'Brien to do double duty.

All I know as far as voice actors go is that Richard Epcar (Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo, Myotismon) is voicing somebody in the series, according to his site.

It's gotta be Bravo. Epcar usually does those teacher roles anyway. Remember he was Hiko Seijuro. YES! One dream cast member down, now they just need Richard Hayworth as anyone and Johnny Young Bosch or Crispin Freeman as Kazuki.
