Interesting theory you got there.. kinda elaborates of all the subtle ZoroxRobin moments that happen in the manga.
Though it doesnt really change my opinion or make me care/bother much because FrankyxRobin i think has more direct (like in your face) hints in the manga and personally it will always be my OTP (though I guess both pairings are equally likely to happen if oda decided to put romance). I get why people ship ZoRo, but its personally just too bland for me meh.
Also Oda directly mentioned they are that Robin was the mother of the crew and Franky was the father (there must be some deeper reason why he said that, and it wasnt just random, with all the ZoRo moments in the manga why didnt he just state that Zoro is the father of the crew and Franky lets say like the uncle or something hmm..)
lol Franky is a cyborg not a robot, since he was born a full human with human DNA, and has a mind (conscience) and a heart just like everyone else and only modified himself externally and his limbs im guessing (which isnt shocking in terms of anime in general, since cyborg characters in anime is very common). I think he would have been dead if he removed his inner vital organs and he woudnt have been able to alter himself in the first place.
Unlike robots That are created by people and are programmed to do certain things, they dont have a life or anything (like Kuma he is just programmed).

And by a hint of things going further, I mean it doesn't have to be shown him kissing a woman or waking up in bed with one. It can be done discretely, like how NICS has handled Tim McGee having several girlfriends when Tony DiNozzo (SP may be off) is the one that flirts big time like Sanji does (but at least we get to see Tony with a few girls!). With McGee, its rarely a 'in your face' reveal like "This is my girlfriend/lover". I remember one scene where its shown he had a girl over for the night by simply having her walk out of his bedroom in the background(moving one side of the screen to the other) as he was on the phone with one of his teammates (forgot what ep that was). That was it, she didn't say anything, Tim didn't say anything so the person on the phone didn't know and Tony was convinced for a while that Tim was a virgin.
If Oda can show a guy pissing off a pier, then he could show something as subtle as Sanji walks out of a hotel room, gets into an argument with Zoro, while in the background, there is a girl sliding out of the same room as Sanji and then out of the panel. That is all that would be needed to settle that "Is Sanji a virgin or not?" question.

I'm a bit torn over which pairing I like. IF it wasn't for Oda saying that he isn't focusing on romance, I would think he was angling for a love triangle between Kaya/Usopp/Nami, :wub: but I know he's not!
In every scene we see Kaya we see her fondness for Usopp. Ironically, we haven't seen any clue of Usopp->Kaya since the timeskip. First thing I would point out is the timing, in the manga, only a few days has passed since they reunited. Second, while we don't see Usopp talking about her, back in the Skypeia arc we got a scene of Usopp & Sanji talking and it was revealed that Usopp has talked a lot about Kaya. So its possible that while we don't see it, Usopp has talked /mentioned Kaya behind the scenes.But still
we get some blatant UsoNa moments shoved in our faces since the timeskip. Enough for me to make a joke about it=

As for Zoro saving Robin (and this is the cornerstone for the Zorobin shipping), Zoro's just doing his duty, the same in Fishman Island.
