Does anyone know if the 'Slime Earings' are of any use on the game? Are they important because I'm stuck on the Octopus boss and If I sell those I can get enough to buy a new weapon for Yangus. Also does anyone know a good level to fight the octopus guy on? :wacko:

Nah, they're not of much importance. I think they can be used in one or two mixes of fairly common stuff, just sell up.

Dunno, you should be able to easily handle him around say, lvl. 12-13.

I think I was only lvl 11 myself when beating him, I'd keep the Slime Earings, I think that they increase one of the stats…Also, this would have probably better in the Dragon Quest Topic.
