Somewhere around 50. In Loguetown when Zoro gets his new swords, thats probably my favorite episode.
Why Im so inlove with episode 377 was becuase it was what I had looked for in OnePiece for a long time, a demonstration for how loyal Zoro really was. Ive always asked myself, when is there gonna be a arc/episode when Zoro leaves (wich is canon, I dont count Movie… 5...?) or shows that he really is loyal to Luffy/SH´s. Because according to me the person I thought of first when it came to "leaving and then be brought back" was Zoro.
Yeah i agree, I like to think of Zoro as the vice-capt … he really filled his role on the ship with that episode.
There are very many awesome episodes but I can't remember them all… so I just go with those that I can think of now.
24 - Zoro vs Mihawk - It's still amazing every time I see it.:cheerful: SANZEN SEKAI!
75 - Color Trap - I really have no idea why, but it's probably the nostalgia... it was one of those episodes where I just sat at home and was amazed how Miss Goldenweek handled Luffy.
86 - Hiruluks Death - I cry every time I watch this  it's just so sad that Chopper went through all this shit for a poisoned mushroom...
114 - Usopp & Chopper vs Mr. 4 & Miss Merrychristmas - another one of those nostalgic episodes. The whole fight was awesome, everything went very fast and I just thought it was the best thing ever xD
132 - Post-Alabasta Nami filler - InvaderP's popularity just went down -100... it's just because of the nostalgic feeling and I liked how this episode took a break from the action and it was just the Strawhats on the ship^^ and back then I didn't know that this was filler.
273 - Gear 2 - love this scene, altough only the last minutes is the actual Gear 2-action, the rest is just running around in that Judge House.
289 - End of Franky vs Fukurou - I just love the interaction between Franky and Chopper in this episode xD hilarious!
309 - Jet Gatling - no description needed.
312 - Merry's Death - the best part is when "Dear Friend" begins to play. Love that song!
336 - Chopperman - the best filler ever xD so cuuuuuute!!
367 - Strawhat Docking! - I love how every the crew uses so many different moves (Armée de l'air, Dai Gekken, Anti Manner Kick Course) to bring down Oars. And of course the legendary Docking scene.
373 - Oars' Defeat - I think Oars' defeat is one of the best moments in the series! Awesome how every Strawhat uses at least one move and everything combined defeats him. The end of the episode gave me goosebumps... Shadows Asgard is CRAZILY animated and Moria's Seiyuu does an amazing job!
378 - Bink's Sake - Wow, many many Thriller Bark episode here oO altough I don't even like TB that much, only everything since the Oars-fight. It cried when Brook said "Solo...", that was better done than in the manga!
And that's everything so far xD
Episode 151 is my favorite, perhaps not the best but definatly my favorite. So many great episodes but 151 is something that have forever carved into my memory.
My favorite episodes would have to be:
The march at Arlong Park
Standoff at Enies Lobby
Strawhats vs Oars
Brooke's backstory
I'm not sure which episodes to post as these events usually span two episodes, but…I'd say pretty much any episode that plays "Overtaken" is instantly awesome.
Well, out of all 442 episodes I'd have to say, I really do not know.
OOH…that's hard.
Luffy vs Crocodile (conclusion)
Luffy vs Bellamy
The last few eps of Luffy vs. Enel from when he and Nami climb the beanstalk all the way to after Luffy rings the bell.
Enies Lobby...the whole freakin arc. I love the Luffy vs Lucci fight.
Luffy vs Blueno just because I love seeing the first time he uses gear 2nd
The ep when Garp shows up in Water 7. It makes me laugh.
The ep when Luffy punches the Tenryuubito and the one when he, Law and Kidd fight the marines.
-Hawkeye vs. Zoro. Simply classic in my eyes.
-Loved the episode when the Straw Hats march on Arlong Park and it ends with Luffy busting in and asking for Arlong.
-Zoro vs. Whiskey Peak bounty hunters.
-The first Crocodile vs. Luffy fight. The part when you just see them both but you hear Croc's hook go into Luffy…awesome every time.
Don't know what other ones I'd pick. So many to choose from.
Ep 151, without any doubt.
World Goverment, Shichibukai, Shirohige, Gourousei, Kurohige …etc.
All in one single episode!
Episode 408 when Luffy lands on Amazon Lily and Margarite and Sweet Pea are cleaning him off and their trying to pull off his last mushroom and ball mushrooms.
The episodes with Duval checking out himself thinking how handsome he is. lol. if anyone has a video edit on that, please let me know!
Episode 404 or 405, awsome animation and terrific pacing
Any high-quality episode with Teach in it has been epic beyond belief (147, 151, 325, 477). However, my overall favorite would have to be 151: it just has the perfect direction, the perfect build-up, and the ultimate "WTF" shocker at the end with Blackbeard's random-ass crew, all assembled from the strangest individuals in Mock Town. Plus, it gave us a more far-reaching explanation of the OP world than just about any other episode.
My favorite episode was during Skypiea arc where Usopp, Sanji, and Luffy were going through that river and they suddenly come out off of a whitewater fall the look on their faces were priceless xD I LoL'd alot
37~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
151: Introduction of WB, Kuma, Sengoku, Tsuru, Doflamingo, BB pirates, Rockstar and Shank's "present" crew.
my fav was when robin joined the crew..
Mines episode 235, when Luffy and Usopp argue about the fate of the Going Merry. But then again, episode 37, when Luffy stops Nami from stabbing herself. That was probably the most beautiful moment in One Piece I've ever seen.
Episode 1
(apologies in advance)
I HAD A WONDERFUL NAP!!!!
Also, 129 (I think) when the Straw Hats sail away from Alabasta, their goodbye to Vivi … and the original opening music starting up immediately afterwards. Considering at this point that Crocodile had been an influence for over half the entire series (starting from when Mr. 9 and Vivi encountered the crew right after they crossed Reverse Mountain) and the Straw Hats had been through so much HELL up to that point, a few episodes of relaxing and then a powerful sendoff felt sooo good...
If it weren't for the Luffy's moodkilling shout of conviction, I think I would like to find a way to frame episode 37.
my favorite is 49 because i loled the entire episode and my favorite character (tashigi) was introduced
Episode 94-95 were pretty funny with the whole Ace, Smoker, Luffy incident at the restaurant.
I don't know. Trying to pick a favorite episode out of a 475 episode series isn't a easy task for me.
I don't remember the ep # but the name is…... Battle with Full Power Abilities. Gumo-Gomu VS Hebi-Hebi
Just because the great action and the way they are all totally shocked when they realize that they don't stand a chance against Luffy in 2nd Gear. (My second favourite fight of all time is Luffy VS Blueno, because of the same reason.)
here is my list of episodes that i really want:
37 - Luffy rises! A resolve from a broken promise
66 - All out battle! Luffy VS Zoro, the grand battle
85 - An outcast Dream! Hiluluk the quack doctor
86 - Hiluluk's Cherry Blossom and a will that will pass on
90 - Hiluluk's Cherry Blossoms! Miracle of snow in the drum rockies
126 - I will surpass you! Rain Falls at Alabasta
151 - The man with the 100 million bounty
187 - Guidance from the Sound of a Bell! The Great Warrior and Tales of an Explorer

447 - Luffy Vs Blackbeard
im currently on a one piece marathon from episode 1 again (currently at 183) so it's still possible to add some good episodes that i like here =)
236, 474, and 405 are the first ones that pop up in my head…:P
episode 4 ftw.
i really like 45 as well.
Those were some good episodes, Axe.
I think it was cool to see everyone looking at Luffy's poster.
The episode wear the whole crew got a bounty was awesome though.
It was right after CP9. One of the best moments was when they showed Nami's old village and her picture really big on the wall.
yeah episode 37 and 405 are probably my favorite episodes. In terms of heart-crushing tears flowing episodes, the two part about Robin's past and the three episodes about Montblanc Norland and Calgara are definitely some of the best of the anime.
Episode 384 has to be one of my favorite episodes that isn't really old.
The animation for some reason looked AMAZING!!! Shading seemed really well done, colors were amazingly vibrant, and it had many sunsets and sunrises to look at. Not to mention the ocean looked so vivid. All the women also were clothing for once.
When I first saw the episode it had one of the moments in OP where you really start to cry. Brook saying he was so happy to be alive was a emotional moment. It also had one of the best comedic moments. Usopp asked Luffy,
"How freaking optimistic can you be?!?!" I would love to see that episode in DVD quality or better.
Episode 384, ehh? Hmmm…I think I'mma take a look at that now in that case, now that you've mentioned it..

Ohhhh man, yess!!! I totally, completely forgot about Montblanc Norland's backstory…those few episodes were just complete tearjerkers. I mean, I was almost tearing up when Calgara's voice echoed in the distance as he said, "...what would you think when you find us gone?"
But yeah, those were good.
384 and the Usopp fight were complete tear jerkers for me. 384 wasn't even meant to be that sad.
Haa…I just watched episode 384 about a day ago, and I must say...I can't believe an episode like that never crossed my mind; I mean, now, after having watched it, I have to say that it is one of the best episodes of OP I have ever seen, and, as one commenter put it, just "hits home" perfectly.
Definitely gave me some warm feelings inside after I finished watching it, that's for sure.
episode 12
not 16 charcters
sixteen characters of 312
Got to be the one were Kuma sent the crew all away, the episode was either 403, 404, or 405 cant remember. That was one of the few times that the Anime made a scene in the Manga better..
Im in love with episode 471
152 had some really funny moments. When Nami and Chopper saw the Shark/Fish get sucked into the whirlpool, the reactions were priceless.
277/278 hands down.
Usopp vs Luffy was also good, so was the episode when they left Alabasta. When Luffy thrashes Bellamy. 405. Bellemere :'( When Zoro takes the pain at the end of Thriller Bark. When Luffy beats Croc, the burning of Merry and when Garp gets up on the platform with Ace and he's crying.
No particular order for those last nine.
my favourite one piece episodes are:
-episode 45 when shanks finds out about luffy's 30 000 000 bounty
-episode 151 whe luufy beats bellamy period.
-episode 393 whe zoro almost killed the celestial dragon so fuuny and my adrenaline went way up!
-episode 396 whe luffy attacks the Celestial Dragon
-episode 400 when Raylight tell the story about Gol D. Roger and my favourite part is when Luffu yells at Ussopp when he asked if one piece is real!
-episode 415 when Elder nyin tell the sister who luffy really is i like the look on their faces
-episode 466 whe luffy falls from the sky lol and when he meets Whitbeard
-episode 478 whe luffy uses haki to stop Ace's executioners and Aokiji is like ''oi oi mashka'' (hey now,for real?)
and a lot more these were the ones i can think of.Peace
Before I opened the thread I knew I was going to say 151, for Bellamy's ass kicking plus all of the exposition about other things in the story. It made me smile to see that this was the original poster's answer too. :)
Episode 405: Eliminated Friends - The Final Day of the Straw Hat Crew
Everytime I see it I start bawling like a baby.
Even then, that episode developed Luffy a lot. Him shouting 'What's wrong with me?' and 'I couldn't save even one!' sums it up quite nicely. Luffy isn't a generic, one-note Shonen protagonist who will always have one more trick up his sleeve to defeat the enemy, even when all seems lost. No, Luffy is a person, and people tend to lose. Before this, Luffy has never lost something that almost broke him, unless you count Baron Omatsuri and the Secret Island. Here, he lost the one thing he holds above all else. His friends. Remember, Luffy doesn't just want friends for the sake of having friends, Luffy has friends as a support. He relies on them to help with his short-comings and he'll help with theirs, refer to his battle with Arlong. Now, he was absolutely defeated. This stark change would set him up for even more development as the Whitebeard War Saga continued.
Episode 309: Feelings Put Into Fists! Luffy's Full Power Gatling
Dear god, this episode was amazing. The fight between Luffy and Lucci was basically perfect, intense, swift, perfectly paced, and this was the ending to that epic fight that I wanted. Not only did Luffy use nothing but raw grit to win, but Oda used popularity polls in an intelligent way, as opposed to just shoehorning in whichever character is most popular at the time. The Gatling is a fan-favourite, and now, we get to see it upgraded to the nth degree to beat the final boss. Also, Usopp's speech also accented some development for him. He was ready to fight Lucci, and tricks probably wouldn't work on him. That's how much Usopp now values the bond he has with Luffy and, to extension, the rest of the crew. Also, what Luffy shouted toward the end was also incredibly heartwarming.
the episode where Usopp and Luffy fought
Episode 377, 516 and 521 are my favorites.
Episode 405, hands down. I'd explain why, but I think Pix did it better then I ever could.
Episode 505. Cliché, but still works amazingly well, especially with Shanks' speech. I just enjoy character moments in general, so 377 is another favorite of mine.
id have to say episode 3-4…yeah but i realy liked it and even tho its old its still one of my favourite episodes
