I'd have to watch the whole anime again, incase I've changed my mind but my favorite episode (forget the number 97 or something)
It's the episode before Drum Island, where Nami gets sick. I laughed so much at Luffy stupidly trying to make Nami laugh to make her feel better. Especially the scene where he tries it again, and Sanji knocks him into the background so he can talk to Vivi, and after a few moments, a picture hanging on the wall falls on Luffy. SO funny. -
i think there was already a thread for this a long time ago, but oh well….
my favorite episode is still to this day, episode 119, Zoro vs Mr. 1. I've never seen Zoro so beautifully animated before that... and after that. most of the time he looks pretty cool in Water 7/Enis Lobby, but for some reason I just fell in love with how he looked in this one episode. plus, it was delightfully violent and bloody... and it will probably be cut out of the dub.

i especially liked the sanji x robin ( prince and princess look !! )
ofcox ..... sanji / zoro kissing part was also gr8!!!

The episode probably that i watch most and is my favorite is episode 119 zoro vs mr.1. Though my favorite all time episode would be 119, 126, 125. Though i am starting to love the sea train battle epiosdes, but yeah its too hard to deicide what is my favorite episode.
My favorite manga volume is 21 then followed my 39

i think 236 (Usopp vs Luffy) by far is my favorite, i love the quality of the episode. Plus it's just so intense to watch.
And yeah i almost forgot 126, when Luffy kicked Croc's ass.

37 - the ending of Nami's flashback, Luffy putting his hat on Nami's head, and everyone marching to Arlong Park to kick ass.
I think it's 86, The conclusion of Chopper's past…the direction and the music was top notch. I can't watch it without breaking into tears.
126 - The defeat of Crocodile. For the same reason as , besides being so exciting and emotional, it's put together so well. Love the music.
236 - I think there's a patten here. Actually from what I've heard, the same director did at least the last of the three. That guy knows how to put together a good punch-in-gut emotional episode.

126 is Godly, and 236 is high up there as well…234 - The Franky Family beatdown- was also awesome as hell.
116 Is also great (Bon clay vs Sanji), as is 43...
The only ones to have me tear up are 86 and 90. The drum arc was the animes finest, IMO. Hilruks Sakura is the most beautiful thing ever...sniff... -

Hell yeah! That's the 4th mvt of Dvorak's New World Symphony. They just don't write 'em like that anymore. So… it's a real classic.
I was so excited when I realized they were playing the movement uncut, timing the episode to match the music-- makes for great television. Best episode, hands down. -
They also used Ave Maria in Chopper's flashback. Any episode that uses classical music is good. :laugh:

Yeah, i also loved the entire Jaya arc. it started to feel more like a pirate story at that point to me.

It was a very, very sad episode. Moved me closed to tears. Easily one of the best executed episodes to date. ^^
-86: Chopper's past.
It might have been a sad episode, but is also a memorable one. And I second Cosmis's remark; Classical music really is the best. ^^
Besides that, the recent episodes have been really good~ Especially from 230 onwards.

3. Episode 8- the final part of The Buggy the Clown fight
4. Episode 43- The finale of the Luffy Vs. Arlong
5. Episode 238- Luffy Vs. Franky
6. Episode 10- The Introduction of Jango
7. Episode 117- Nami Vs. Miss Doublefingers
8. Episode 67- Robin's introduction
9. Episode 94- Ace Vs. Smoker, and of course the entire Chasing Luffy stuff.
10. Episode 126- Croc's defeat. -
I also like the entire Jaya Arc because Bellamy is awesome. points to avatar And although I like Bellamy, episode 151 The Hundred-Million Man! The World's Highest Authority and the Pirate Blackbeard is my favorite episode because the scene where Bellamy got owned was cool.

The entire Kuro arc. Kuro is such a kick ass villain and simply because it's when we're first introduced to Usopp ^^
And the Whiskey Peak episode! Gotta love it when Sanji grabbed Usopp's hand in his sleep X3 It amused the yaoi fangirl in me, especially since SanUso is my OTP in shounen ai.
And episode 236. I think that pretty much moved everyone, though I kinda had to get the gist of it through an AMV (since I can't get the episodes in torrent; my computer sucks like that).

Yeah, he grabbed Usopp's hand twice. XD Although I know the Skypiea incident wasn't in the manga. But come to think of it again, I'm not sure the Whiskey Peak one wasn't either because I never did read WP in the manga.

My favorite is probably either 247, The Man Who Is Loved By His Ship! Usopp's Tears! or 213, Round 3! Round And Round Roller Race! and214, Burning Roller Race! Dash Into The Final Round!.
247 because it was the only episode that ever made me come close to crying.
And 213 and 214 because I just thought those were fun. : D
The roller race was really appealing to me for some reason. -

I think my all time favorite episode was 126. I know it sounds really fanboy-ish, but as soon as it started playing new world symphony, I was glued to the screen.
Most of my favorite episodes, really are when the bad guys who had some sort of big connection to the Straw Hats (Kuro tried to keep Usopp away from Kaya, then attempted to kill her to inherit her fortune, Arlong had Nami under his control for years, and as soon as she got the money to pay him back he had Nezumi steal it all for him Wapol basically lit the fire that made Dr. Hiluluk commit suicide, then tried to take back the castle from him and Kureha, etc.) are defeated. Not to say I don't get excited when more minor bad guys go down, or the ones who have little previous connection to the crew (Bellamy, Enel).

The ep where Crocodile's badly beaten body is flying through the air as "New World Symphony Movement no 4" plays in the background is the best ep in the series.
I'll possibly change my opinion when I see how Enies Lobby concludes… (It'll end with something classical... you know it will...)
