Actually to me, it feels like an episode of 24, don't know why…Perhaps it's that sense of evil just strolling around, and nobody knows who or what is going to happen next.

Uh, is anyone else aside from me bored to death with the Death Note anime? Yeah, seeing L in action is cool and all but watching each episode just isn't as entertaining as it was at first.
It's almost like I have to pretend I like Death Note to justify watching it.
You just have to naysay everything that is good don't you?
This anime adaption is great so far, got my anti-anime friend who liked Berserk into it. The music's intense, the animation is pretty damn good, if you don't like it gee I dunno don't watch maybe?

What is the video quality of the current speedsubs (L-E, TW, Animanda…)?
I'm not sure wether to download these or wait for the DVD version.
And btw, which group is doing the best job? Anidb says Animanda.

I think LE and TW are both doing a great job. My only annoyance with LE is their use of "death god" which isn't a big deal at all.

and did anyone notice that in the 3 second flashback of Penber, his signature now says "Raye Penber," like in the manga, instead of Ray Penbar.

Well, that was translated wrong. Light DOES say in Japanese, "It's because… I'm Kira!" He intentionally tests Naomi to make sure she gave her real name that time.

As for the soundtracks, they still have to release the second movie's soundtrack, released the first of this month. Can't wait until the TV anime's soundtrack is released though, it definitely is made of win.

you probably have to use the stylist to write the people's name in the bottom screen and then they will use this as a clue to find you and you have to make sure you don't get caught….probably like that. It seems like how you would play Yu-Gi-Oh! World Wide Edition.(not the cardgame, the world screen)
