Holy FUCK THAT WAS AWESOME
-All the voices are perfect, Sanji/Pip = WIN, Dandy's voice is perfect
-the music is getting better (anyone know the name of the song when he heads for the elevator?)
-Elevator action was viciously perfect
the only thing I didn't like was that Alucard Didn't do this
I agree on that Point, I missed the "Bring it" Moment at the End of Elevator Action 4, but I see why they removed it.
Basically, Hellsing is a Monthly Series, so that was the big "end of chapter" moment" I actually missed the part where Alucard had the Crossed Guns and said "I'm tired of the Hors O'euvres!" part. but It makes for a better linear Viewing this way… although, it would have been cool to have shown the "Bring it" moment while the Major was watching... in fact that would have been perfect!
The Music That played During Elevator Action was never played before in either of the Other OVAs themselves, but it was in one of the trailers for OVA II, it is SUCH an awesome song played all the way through!! I Want, Neigh, NEED to buy the OST when it comes out

Well, I just got around to watching it, and I'm surprised I didn't hear a SINGLE word about it, but the Major softly singing Tough Boy at the end made this OVA the best one yet. When he started off with "Welcome to this crazy time" I was thinking for a second of how familiar it sounded.. then I was in awe.

Sorry about the Quality of Chapter 84, but I am supposed to be getting Better Scanned Raws of that At 300 DPI in a few days time, so I felt spending too much time on Image work would have been a waste since it will be rereleased in about a Week or so.
Also, I promised (elsewhere) 3 chapters in this batch before, The next Chapter of Volume 8 WILL be out by Days end, and Hopefully a few more from V8 as well, so look forward to that

I just got my DVD for the second OVA, and it was the Limited Edition. However, it failed to come with the 200 page Production Artbook it was advertised as coming with for the past few months.
When my mom brought it home and I realized what was missing, I called the store. The guy there (who knows us well) said that none of the Limited Editions ordered came with the artbook. He was just as perplexed as we were, since he had also been expecting the art book.
I'm just wondering if this is just one shipping mishap on the part of Geneon distrbution (on their website, it does advertise that the LE DVD comes with the artbook), or if anyone else outside of my little area is having this problem. I'm going to be phonig Geneon tommorow to ask, so I want to know if it's just my area, or if it is a bigger problem.
After watching the OVA 2 dub, I have to say, it's epic. Everyone's roles are 10 times more epic than the original series. It just seems every performance has this intensity that wasn't there before. (Seras, Jan, Walter, and Alucard in particular.) (Same for Luke actually) ..So basically everyone..
Edit: Integra too.
And the interview with the voice directer and Jan's and Luke's voice was nice too. I could only find the regular version of OVA 1, did it have something similar?
