No, he wasn't rude, but he's stating an opinion he knows other people don't share in a way that indicates he thinks people do. If he finds it boring, whatever, I don't care, I just don't see why he keeps reading it and posting in a forum dedicated to it, since it's a collosal waste of his time.

I've actually found the Enies Lobby and Water 7 stuff more impressive than a lot of what came before. There's the amazing turnabouts in Usopp and Robin, the unexpected destruction of Going Merry (did anyone expect that prior to the start of W7?), and yet the comical thread still works (Every CP9 is lovably weird or pathetic.)
In comparison, Skypeia was a letdown. The priests didn't have as much of a spark as previous Oda minor villians, Enel's plan made no sense, and the ending seemed hasty and hard to buy.
I can't wait to read 410.

Now I do agree that One Piece is getting pretty long but boring hell no there always something unexpected happening like Chopper "revelation"
Dragon Ball and DB Z were good long yes but good a little bit boring maybe but othing compared to DB GT (this one sucked Toei)

Personally, I think it's more interesting now than it ever was before, and as far as I see the plot is really heating up and coming together, so no complaints from me in that dept. I'm not ready for it to end.

As a shonen manga, One Piece does follow the basic thread of most series. There are fights with some comedy thrown and the hero eventually wins. However, One Piece has been particularly good at using the standard formula and building plots around one another. You can think of it like a series of concentric circles where the stuff inside affects the stuff further out in the circles. I think the "memorable quotes" thread also shows that just about every chapter of One Piece has had its use in the story, furthering the plot, or just being outright enjoyable to read.
Actually, what I am really interested in concerning Asshole A's initial post is that One Piece is predictable. If that's the case, you're exactly the guy/girl that this place needs. You can be the official AP Oracle! We need someone who can lead us along the right track during that key period in between spoilers and the real chapter to tease out information. A very cool position in my opinion. You should consult the forum administrators about being on the staff as the official AP Oracle. Heck, I'll endorse you on it.

Well, one of my friends said One Piece will suffer the "DBZ Syndrome". Basically it means a shonen anime has been expanding its story for too long (100 eps and up) and the series have simply stopped being entertaining and it got its name since everyone is like "it's becoming like Dragonball Z" often, so yeah.
One Piece is going too far with the story but even with 264 episodes and over 400 chapters it's still getting good. Although I hear some of the fights with the CP9 aren't that great.

I certainly don't. Sometimes long series can be good, or bad. One Piece has ALOT of things to cover and Oda has a extreme imagination.
I believe this could go on until Oda dies of old age (oh god help us) and it still wont get boring.

Chou, I hope you know making more than one account is against the rules and can result in the banning of BOTH accounts. And seeing how you and Creeping share the same computer he would get banned aswell if they used an IP ban.
