^They are…both of them.
Throughout this month, we will be testing new features (like search) so you may experience some hiccups from time to time. We'll try to not be too disruptive...

she looks rather much unchanged…...
AWESOME I CAN STILL RECOVER FROM ANYWHERE

RIDLEY MUSIC.
Excuse me while I go make-up rumours about him being the game to confused noobs. 8D
(Unless he ends up being in it after all; then it's all WIN-WIN anyways.)
I still must wonder, though: WHERE'S MY SIMON BELMONT? D8
Ridley Music is win. I really want him playable, pretty everybody who's played Matroid wants Ridley playable…
Screw Simon, give us Julius, Cross Crash, bitches...

I agree i want to see Ridley in the game
-
Nice to see Samus with the suit on, lookin' great.
Now let's get some info on Wario, Metaknight, and Snake! Unless of course…..they want to give us a new character. Even if that character isn't "new" technically, it'd be nice to see someone we haven't seen at all yet. (like Yoshi, DK etc.)
-
I'm so excited about this game that I bookmared SmashBros.com just to keep updated! Then again, who hasn't? Here's a few characters I wish to see:
Ridley
Waluigi
Princess Daisy
King Dedede
Pokey Minch
Poo
Tingle
Skull Kid
Sonic the Hedgehog
Kamek
Diddy Kong
Toad
Muddy Mole
Captain OlimarSorry, I couldn't help myself!
So far this game is turning out kick-ass in every way possible!

WHOA! superspecialawsome !

Samus is lookin' pretty fuckin' savage. She doesn't need any tweaking from Melee, unless they just want to improve her dodge roll or Screw Attack. Her entire moveset is practically perfect.

i would agree with that except it would be much easier for me to kill if she was faster i mean like marth type faster
-
I belive that's what's zero suit is for

Samus doesn't need to be 'fast'. She has an excellent long-range game and a close-range game, what with having the best sex kick, Shield Bombing, and the best crouch cancel in the game.
-
Screw Simon, give us Julius, Cross Crash, bitches…
Hey, ANY Belmont works for me. I just want to see it happen.
Most awesome smash bros comic ever.
Hey, that artist is on CAA (he's the same one that did that 'Shadow of the Colossus Tingle' thing, too >.> ).
-
Link's final smash is now up. It's basically what we saw in the first trailer.
But I love the stuff Sakurai writes about each update.
"Is he using the Triforce to slash enemies? Or is it the Triforce doing the slashing?
You don’t have time to ponder such questions, as Link has just grabbed a Smash Ball." -

TRUE TRUE

EXACTLY
-
Well, Link's Triforce Slash apparently does a fuckton of damage.
-
Link's Triforce Slash looks awesome
-
Can't wait to see what the Wario Waft is capable of.
It'll probably be like Robo-Ky's Hercules Engine, where it counts down [a.k.a builds up gas], then triggers an explosion after a certain number of seconds. So, you'll need to stay near the person you want to hurt until the Waft comes out.
-
Link's Final Smash looks awesome.
It's cool that you can use the triforce to attack opponents. -
The more I think about it, clone characters really are a thing of old; seeing as they're making all these final smashes fresh and original for each character so there should be no reason to give Ganondorf and Falco new movesets to compliment their characters.
-
Wolf or Krystal would be a better choice over Falco.
Krystal would be the more original fighter of those three, having a quarterstaff and all.
-
I hope Krystal never stars in any game ever again
-
Yeah, we all know that Krystal is lame.
But what the fuck are Falco and Wolf going to do that's different from Fox? Wolf is basically an evil Fox, and Falco is a rebellious, angsty Fox. Neither of them have much to offer.
-
The only hope is to make Bill playable since he's a dog
-
Sakurai's going to add Slippy as a playable character, but he has no attacks and can only run from his opponent. If you press the A button, he screams: "THEY'RE ON MY TAIL! I CAN'T SHAKE 'EM!"
-
Yeah, we all know that Krystal is lame.
That's mostly Nintendo's fault for not using her properly in her roles past Adventures. In fact, there was a whole bunch of unused material from Adventures that suggested an extended role for her. (If I could find that damn video, I'd show you what I'd mean)
Besides, Smash Bros. Melee had only 3 females. (4 if you count Jigglypuff) We only know Samus is returning but we don't know jack about Peach and Zelda returning yet. (Though I don't doubt they're back either) Either way, we need more female characters. Even if you hate Krystal, fact is, she'd be at least another much needed female to add to the roster.
And like Cyringohn said, she has her staff she can use. We haven't had a staff weilder yet. (The characters that pack weapons in these games are mostly sword and laser gun users)
-
Honestly, the could make any character have awesome moves. Look at Peach.
-
@Cyringohn:

Or Peppy, who can jump higher than everyone else and offers basic advice to the person who's playing as him, such as "Use the boost to chase!", "Hold A to charge your laser!" or the classic, "Do a barrel roll!"
-
I've noticed that in all Fox games as a general rule, I wish that the side characters would shut the fuck up. "DO A BARREL ROLL" makes me want to skin Peppy, and eat him.
-
Seeing Samus, I'm sort of starting to regret selling my purple funbox. Nah, not really. I just loved playing with her. She had a hot and very solid moveset and doing all of those things which you could do with her made her a smooth ride.
I'm all for Krystal and her magic staff too.
-
@Mr.:

Not only that, but the games tend to have awkward dialogue, especially in SF Assault.
Oikoney: "It's time to end our relationship!"
Falco: "Call me if you get lonely and I'll come down."
Fox: "No thanks. All I need is a landmaster tank."That, and why the hell did Falco have so many different voices in SSBM? A deep low voice for his victories, a British accent in an event mode cut scene ("Try to stay alive huh, Fox"), a snarky mellow voice in another ("Jeez, you're such a pain"). And the voice for his taunt…. Duh, tell me about the rabbits, George.
But I liked his and Fox's victory poses, cause what they said sounded weird. It sounded like Falco was saying, "It shall complete!" and Fox sounded like he was saying, "I like company!"
edit-
btw, I know that their taunts were in Japanese. -

Krystal was fucking lame to begin with.
GIRL FOX FURRY PRINCESS
-
I don't recall Krystal EVER being a princess.
That, and why the hell did Falco have so many different voices in SSBM? A deep low voice for his victories, a British accent in an event mode cut scene ("Try to stay alive huh, Fox"), a snarky mellow voice in another ("Jeez, you're such a pain"). And the voice for his taunt….
Because he had two actors. A japanese guy for his in-game fighter lines and Ben Cullum at Rare who did the Adventure mode cutscene dialog and later reprised the role of Falco in Adventures.
Same deal with Fox only they got two actors that sounded alike. (Don't know who did Fox's japanese voice for when you play as him but Steve Malpass did Fox for the cutscenes and in Adventures)
-
I'm starting to like the idea of alternate skins more and more. Characters like Wolf, Falco, Daisy, Waluigi, Pichu, Mr.L, Birdo, alternate Marios, etc. etc. would all make great alternate skins. We can get in more characters, without adding a bunch of clones or repeat characters.
I definately like the idea of Krystal being in the game. Thee really should be more female characters, and Krystal is not only a female but has more potential for variety. Another female I'm pushing for is Dixie, since her hair attacks would give more variety than Diddy (there's not much they can do to make him different than DK)
-
(there's not much they can do to make him different than DK)
I beg your pardon? What about all that stuff he had in DK64? The Jet Barrel, The Chimpy Charge, Orange Grenades, cartwheel, you could even use the Guitar Gazzump as his Final Smash. I mean, it's not that hard to make him different than DK.
-
Honestly, the could make any character have awesome moves. Look at Peach.
Peach is a fairly unique character, though. Wolf and Falco don't have much to offer, seeing as how their design is barely different from Fox's.
As for Samus, she's really one of the last female characters in existence that kicks people's asses, just for the sake of it. She's hardly ever exploited for sexual appeal, she's not stuck as a "healer" or "support" character, etc. If Samus was a male, there would be really no difference in their roles in Metroid, aside from most people not wanting to see Samus strip after completing the game.
-
But I liked his and Fox's victory poses, cause what they said sounded weird. It sounded like Falco was saying, "It shall complete!" and Fox sounded like he was saying, "I like company!"
I always thought they were screaming out "I shoot my company!".
Anyway, Krystal could be worth putting in for her possible fighting style but other than that I'm not really sure if anyone from the Fox series can be used without the chance of them becoming a clone. If this whole "no clone" thing is true, I'm wondering how they'll include Luigi and some of the Fire Emblem characters I'd like to see added. I'm sure Marth will be kept but truth be told I wouldn't mind seeing Eliwood (unlikely) or Ike.
-
You mean, Fox and Falco weren't saying "Mission: Complete!"?
-
Luigi is vastly different from Mario.
-
Samus is fawkin' awesome…
=D SOLID SNAKE~
Oh, I really do hope it comes out soon...I don't care for all this updating and stuff..I just want to play it and beat everyone's ass!
and yeah, Fox and Falco were definately saying "Mission: Complete!" =D unless me and my bro were actin' stupid and thought they were saying something else.
-

There isn't even a release date yet, so don't get your hopes up.
Fox and Falco definitely say "Mission Complete!" in the English voice track.
-
aw….;-; I wanna be solid snake...
did they elaborate on his moves yet? All they said was that he will have his explosives and cardboard box...>.< I LOVE DAT CARDBOARD BOX!!!! ;-; good times i had in that thing...
-

Nope, not yet. The second trailer shows off some of his A moves, though, so you should watch it if you haven't. Most of it is punches and kicks, though he does use a rocket launcher against Pit briefly.
Snake is going to be an unlockable character, so Sakurai won't likely reveal too much information about Snake.
-
Oh, makes sense. =D when I do get a wii (;-;) and Brawl does come out…I shall unlock Snake first!
-
What if you have to unlock everyone else to get Snake first then what will you do
-
then I'll just unlock everyone else…it wouldn't be the end of the world for me...I'll still get to unlock snake :3
-
TO UNLOCK SNAKE YOU MUST RUB SUNSCREEN ALL OVER CAP'N CARTER'S LUSCIOUS BACK
Have fun.
-
That would be the only event match worth replaying over and over
-
@Cap'n:
What if you have to unlock everyone else to get Snake first then what will you do
Simple, TIME PARADOX!
-
@Cap'n:

Fox: MISSION COMPLETE!
Cap'n Carter: Oh, not quite yet, big boy. Come on over here…
