Yes, I've always thought of the idea of a Smash Bros. with super moves but never could think of how they would work. Turns out this game answered that question for me, those special SSB Logos. (Mario has that kickass Kamehameha version Fireball move, Link has that Triforce slash.) I won't mind 3rd party characters in this (despite it "ruining" the whole purpose behind the franchise) as long as it's just Snake and possibly Sonic. (If I see Shadow in this, SOMEONE'S head's going to roll) So far in that trailer, I've have to say that the two best special moves I've seen are Kirby's Cook ability which is no doubt his super move and Wario's Nuclear Gas Attack. (Gee, it seems farting as an attack is popular nowadays.)
Heck I wasn't expecting Wario to be dressed up in his Wario Ware biker outfit either. I'm hoping in addition to the fart move, he also some game specific attacks as well. These guys are creative. Who'd ever thought of the idea of having a Nintendog come up and paw at the screen and obscure your view as an item? Or the idea of Pit splitting his bow in half to form makeshift dagger-like weapons? (One of the arguements against playable Pit was that his Bow would make him too much like Link.)
EDIT: You'll notice I did not Metaknight. Frankly he's no surprise to me since he was also a very often requested guy during my times on various Smash Bros. boards hypothesising characters prior to Melee's release. Up there with Ganondorf, Pit, and Wario actually. Him flying in on the Halberd however, completely blew me away.

Yes. The trailer features Samus firing off a giant energy blast as her possible "super move" and in the process, her suit shreds away to reveal her Metroid: Zero Mission outfit complete with laser pistol. (Which apparently she can turn into a lightsaber to boot!)

I don't care much about Meta-Knight or Pit, but Snake's got me pretty pumped, especially after that video. Best entrance ever.

I love Wario, Metaknight and Pit being in the game (about damn time for all of them). However I'm a bit iffy about Snake. Sonic and Megaman I can understand due to their history with Nintendo but to me when I think of Metal Gear, I think Sony not Nintendo. Still it is nice to see some non-Nintendo characters in it and I think it would be excellent if Sonic and maybe Megaman are added. I can't wait to learn more.

I forgot about the SSB emblem power up. I love the idea behind it. If Sonic is going to be in this game, I can't wait to see what happens to him (it would probably turn him into Super Sonic), as well as other characters. I just hope they keep Fire Emblem characters in it. I'd personally like to see Eliwood replace his son Roy and maybe bring in Hector.
