…the thread about Chopper's head is locked?
Being both Oda and Miyazaki genius, is it so bad to find similarities between them? Or to make someone else who didn't notice them comment on them?
I can't understand why it happened. Can someone tell me why? :ninja:
locked because the thread is more of an "if" question. "what if you cut off chopper's head? can it cure diseases?"
this manga forum is used to discuss the manga chapters. so that thread, first of all, should be in general one piece.
secondly, not all of us know about miyazaki. it is common sense that the first post of the thread has to be as descriptive as possible so no one gets confused with the purpose of the thread. creating a thread should promote discussion. if the thread is confusing to begin with, no discussion will start. that thread should have started by saying something along the lines of "chopper's head look really similar to the deer god from miyazaki's anime"
and even then, there is a thread about oda's inspiration where people can point out certain simliarities to other anime/manga, so the post could have been made there instead of making a new thread. if everyone makes a new thread for something like that, then this forum would be filled up with 30 new threads every hour, and then things will get out of control.
now, since this thread isn't a manga discussion either, i will lock this. chessfan, you can private message (PM) me if you still would like to continues discussion.
next time, for questions like this, please PM an admin/mod, instead of making a new thread. there's a reason why PM system is made available for you to use.
