I actually had a boyfriend whose middle name was "D.". I asked him what it stood for and he said it really was "Dee", but he thought it sounded too feminine so he had it changed to "D". Kind of reminds me of the Simpsons…Homer always wanted to know what the J in Homer J. Simpson stood for, and finally he found out it was "Jay". :lol:

Not quite sure what the D stands for. I always wondered if there may be a connection with Dragon but Monkey Dragon Luffy just sounds a bit strange.

I agree that it is probably Dragon. Regardless of how dumb it sounds. It would explain the ending of the Logue Town arc too. :huh: It's probably just hidden as a protection precausion so that the 'D' children can grow up without crazy pirates after them all their lives.
