Interdisciplanary Liberal Arts (a humanties course)
Japanese III
Greece and Rome (study of myths and culture of greece, politics of rome. We are reading Julius Caesar now. I have come to like shakespeare much more over the years)
Physics I
Theater Production Lab (a class where we make films)

This sounds like it could get pretty fun:
Period 1: Spanish III, Level 4
Period 2: Language Arts, Level 4 (Sophmore LA rocks. We actually read good books, like Catcher in the Rye, 1984, and Of Mice and Men.
Period 3: World History II, Level 4 (With the most biased Bush-basher on the planet as a teacher)
Period 4: Health, Level nonexistant
Period 5: Algebra II, Level 4
Period 6: Chemistry, Level 4
Period 7: Band, Level 3 (YAY TUBA!)

And next year I'll be taking AP Biology, C++, Band, some kind of Math, American Literature, P.E., and World History II (The stupid Massachusetts MCAS standardized test screwed up the curriculum. I had USHistory I for like 3 years in a row, learned about ancient cultures 2 years, and never once got WH1).

So, how ridiculously hard are AP classes? AP Bio is my first AP class of ever.

i read catcher in the rye in 8th grade and of mice and men in 7th >_> Although, i dont know how the mass. school system works. I have been "reading" (you know, the old fashioned way, the sparknotes way) more advanced books of late, but i am a senior

Massachusetts is retarded when it comes to curriculums. We read "Great Expectations" last year, yet we read "Of Mice and Men" this year… Preeeeetty screwed up. Plus the whole thing with History, the fact that I've had entire units on "If... Then" logic in three classes so far, and the fact that I need to take the standardized test on Biology this year even though I took Bio last year. But, hey, my school prides itself on being one of the best public high schools in the state, so it must be good, right..? :mellow:

So, yeah, I'm a Sophomore and I'll be a Junior when I take AP Bio. I'm still a young-un.

Yes i know P.E is a favorite for most people but i kind of detest gym.I have those kids who think they're good at everything and are just total assholes and really aren't all that good. Plus over 60% of the games are stupid. Also, to make massachussettes look even more retarded, I'm in 8th and we read of mice and men this year.

I actually remeembered something when you said this that I completely forgot - Massachusetts is totally retarded, but at least the teachers know it. Back when I was in middle school they had a program for advanced students where you would go to this one classroom all day and learn crap that actually mattered, and it was pretty advanced. We went to plays (including Shakespeare), did logic problems, and read and analyzed pretty adult books (Kafka's The Metamorphosis, taking a look at the logic of Alice in Wonderland, etc.). And that only existed because the principal was sick and tired of the whole MCAS deal.

Meh, whatever. The only things it interrupts with are History (which I honestly couldn't care less about) and Literature (which I end up reading books more advanced in my spare time anyway).
