What would be a sucky ending to OP

I actually think someone dying would be very dramatic, AFTER reaching their dream! E.G. Sanji dies after finding the All Blue…or dying in the water and seeing the All Blue o_O?

I DON'T WANT IT TO HAPPEN! I'm just saying it'd be dramatic.

When One Piece ends (I pary it's a long time from now), I want it to END! Not a "we're heading towards our next adventure", a END!! One Piece being finding their dreams or something would be alright, if it's actually gold o_O""

Worse case scenario: Someone else beats Luffy to being King of the Pirates..

yeah I think I would prefer a dramaic endding as to most of the ideas people come up with. Luffy becoming the Pirate King and getting killed the same way as Gold Roger would be dramatic and ironic! lol and the thought Sanji drowning in all blue is so funny to me I must be evil.

You know I have this feeling, One Piece is actually the information that their world is fake, and made up by author(Eichiro Oda) in another world. Somehow Gol D. Roger got ahold of this info and the higher up government officials know thier is fake. That would be A SUCKY ENDING.

The crew reaches Laftel (boy that's a popular start for a crappy ending) and finally make it to the treasure chest where "One Piece" is. They open it up and they find…GAIMON!?!?!?!? Apparantly, he somehow got to the island first...and consequently got stuck in the chest where the treasure was hiding. And making matters worse: the treasure is stuck under him and no one can ever remove him! The SH throw him into the ocean and just leave...the end.

The 9th or 10th crew member is secretly a backstabber/wants to become pirate king/queen themself/was hired to kill the Strawhats, kills Luffy (cuts his head off, just for the sake of being simple) just as he begins to open/take/see One Piece(he sees it off panal/screen, ofcourse). He/she is then jumped and killed/captured by the rest of the Strawhats.
It ends with Luffy's funeral. no closure (no one else has achieved their dream, aside from Robin, who's was required to reach One Piece). No revealing of what One Piece is.

OR. Luffy gets One Piece (grabs it whole. we'll say it's in a treasure chest. the cave/area/whatever is self destructing/fading away/falling appart). As they're running to leaving, Mihawk blocks there way. Zoro goes to fight/challange Mihawk.. but! Luffy does something to stop Zoro from fighting Mihawk (to make it a dangerous, "you'll never survive if we don't leave now!" type of situation, lets put them in a.. volcanic area, lava erupting everywhere. he can swim, so crumbling and fading away are no-go), and as everyone gets back to the ship, Zoro and Luffy start fighting.
The last panal/page is Luffy and Zoro clashing mid-air. again, no closure(same as the other situation), or revealing of what one piece is. just a badass midair clash on an exploding volcanic island in front of everyone else.

But that would be a GOOD ending. A sucky ending (involving the Pulp Fiction sequence) would go thus:

After arriving at Raftel, they go through a number of traps, barely escaping alive. They also have to solve a series of riddles, all written in Poneglyphic. Robin is able to translate all of them, and even guess a few, but most are answered individually by different crewmembers. The last riddle is solved by Luffy himself (he just punches down the wall the Riddle was on.) and they all enter the final chamber. There, they see a single, shoddy steamer trunk (stereotypical treasure chest). Nami is not pleased by the lack of immense wealth. Everyone is nonplussed except Robin and Luffy. Gulping audibly, Luffy opens the chest just a crack. A golden-orange light pours out. Throwing back the lid completely, Luffy stands dazzled by the light.

Nami: Is that!–

Sanji: It can't be...

Robin is in shock. Tears are streaming down her face as she stands stock-still. Luffy reaches into his pocket, and pulls out the blank sheet of Paper Ace gave him. Looking at the paper he stares awestruck at the chest. Suddenly, he slams the chest close. A look of grim determination settles over his features.

The story timeskips to Fuschia Village, where the Pirate King Luffy D. Monkey is about to be executed.

Luffy: My treasure? No way, I'm not givin' you that! But if you want One Piece, it's still there. Go ahead, take it. I never want to see that Thing again.

The halberds descend, and Luffy carries the secret horror of One Piece to his grave.

Dude, that is SERIOUSLY disturbing. I pray that doesn't happen.

I want something involving Usopp for some reason. Like a spin-off, mainly comedy. NOSE PIECE!

Starring:
Usopp-The Long
Chopper- The Blue
Robin- The Flat
Franky- The Metal

and their quest to stop Arlong the Saw from getting the coveted "Perfume of the gods". Foxy is an ally after a defeat and gives help whenever he can. Jango and some marine subordinates are also in it with Arlong.
Mozu and Kiwi help with treasure related issues.
Buggy will be involved.

That's all I can think of. I'm going to try to write one or get someone else to write it for me because I'm lazy.

No. That doesn't sound familiar at all.

But if The straw hat's find one piece and they're having a celebration,and Enel is on the moon and he's going to make the moon fall in three days,so the straw hat's have to beat him again before it happens and they have to use an ocarina to go back in time three days back and afterwards summon giants to help them stop the moon…

Then it's familiar.

But because I'm Zelda biased, I'd say that's a good ending. hehe.

The Straw Hat given to Luffy by Shanks.

It shows Gol D. Roger had a similar adventure to Luffy. Strangely familiar. And One Piece is Gol D. Roger's afro he used in a Johnny Forward argument!

My brother and I were just talking about that this morning. I told him that I have (since Chopper joined) had this weird feeling that not everyone is going to make it to the end. And, I think, it would add to the more realistic bits of the series if that were so. Plus, it's always HELLISH storytelling when a main character dies. You never want it to happen, and you never expect it, and when it happens, you don't believe it.

Kind of like when Kuririn was killed by one of Piccolo's minions in early Dragonball, then, soon after, Kamesenin! Who ever would have seen THAT coming!? I sure as Hell didn't. But, it made for some wonderfully emotional stuff, and made Piccolo's defeat that much more powerful. Plus, there was that whole thing when Goku died…

I DON'T think Luffy OR one of his crew being killed would be a 'sucky' ending, but instead a very memorable one.

Hmmm... Now I'm having flashbacks to the end of 'Angel'.

Anyway, a lame ending would be they reach their and find out that One Piece is alrady claimed by someone who isn't a pirate and doesn't want to be a pirate, plus, that guy has no idea what One Piece is, and he has amnesia and doesn't remember anything…

This tells that Luffy is going to pay Makino with the treasure he finds. When Luffy was young he paid up such a huge debt that the only way to pay her back is to find one piece. When he finds it he brings his crew over to his village and tells Makino-

"Here's my treasure! Drinks for everyone! Lets feast!"
Then all the SHs enjoy with the hometown and Shank's crew and all of there great friends.
