There's a One Piece fighting game coming out in English that looks a lot like One Piece Grand Battle Rush. There are 24 playable characters in all, including the Straw Hats, Ace, Buggy, Wapol, and Crocodile, as well as 50 support characters. Here's a link.

Interesting. But I'm more interested about the Japanese version. One better exist, because I'll be pissed if I have to play as Trace and not Ace or if I can't play as Foxy.
However, looks like Wapol finally got back into the roster!! Yes!! I used to play as him non-stop in Gran d Battle 2!

One Piece: Grand Adventure builds upon the recently released One Piece: Grand Battle. It's not an entirely new game, so much a revamping of the original with new modes and enhancements. Second, these enhancements actually make Grand Adventure better than its predecessor.
Anyone have any links to information about the Japanese version of this game?

According to IGN, there IS no Japanese version. Which might be bad.
Edit- The adventure mode where you choose your Captain sounds SOO fun! I will definently use Captain Kuro, since he is confirmed. Also, in that first pic that they show, how is there that many characters on one stage at a time? None of those are support characters of the other.

Unless I'm mistaken that big picture has Luffy's Skypedia look. Either random images were chosen or maybe they'll be including some of the Skypedia characters in it this time.

The game looks pretty sweet form the pictures, so I can't wait for it to come out. The stages looks so much cooler, even though it was just Louge Town, and the Marine HQ.

I won't judge it 'til I hear it, bit Robin British sounds…bad. Anyway, it looks decent; although judging by the screencaps it's just a Grand Battle remake. Oh well, I'll buy it if it comes out for the Gamecube.
EDIT: 'Tis the same voice, I still ike it... I"m just glad she gets costumes this time instead of a recolored original. >.>

For as much as I hated the voices of the dub, I really enjoyed Grand Battle- it took my stepbro and I just one week to beat the whole game. I'm excited that there is an expansion and I am definately getting it ^_^, cuz I'm a loser like that.
Plus it's really a fun game….really really.

Bellamyand two others I can't think of. Some of the Skypieans are a stretch, but remember that they gave us Croc, Robin, and Bon Clay before we even started Drum Island Arc in America. Skypiea is right after Alabasta, so it's certainly a possibility.
Definently some new stages, and it looks like they got a new style for the fruit meter and character names during fights. However, all of those attacks we saw in the video are exactly the same as the first Grand Battle. I'd like a new One Piece game, but not if they don't include some Skypiea and/or Davy Back Fight.

It looks like an intresting game, I may get it, because I won't be able to mod my PS2 (Technically it's my brother's) but if it comes out for the Gamecube then I may wait a bit because I already have a swap disk thing for the Gamecube. Also I noticed this:

Speaking of Bellamy, he really should have a spot in this game. I was wondering why on earth he wasn't playable in GB3 and GB: Rush. How did Hina get in before him…? Hina haven't did anything big in the series and we never really saw her fight. We know really well what Bellamy can do, and yet he was left out of GB3?!

Something still bothers me….characters not seen yet in the anime, especially far-off characters like Foxy and Aokiji, means they aren't likely to spend a ton of time searching for the perfect voice actor (evidenced by Sanji and Usopp's voices). However, it's likely the voices we get in the games are the permanent voices, so.....
......I'm glad my TV has a mute button.
I'd rather not know what dub Eneru, Foxy, and Bellamy will sound like.

I think I'll like this upgrade, even if the characters named (Vivi, Tashigi, "Trace," and Wapol) aren't exactly favorites. Hey, but that means the other four will be characters I like. Here's hoping Zeff is there for a reason…

IGN had a video on its site, it's just the way Robin speaks, sounds really different to her original dub "country gal" voice.

This is common, companys use pictures for their merchandise that don't actually reflect their product.
