I was reading some other thread, and I saw the word Raftel, and I started thinking about the whole R and L thing in the Japanese language and how they're interchangable and such. So I swapped some L's and R's, and Raftel becomes: Lafter.
I find that somewhat interesting considering Luffy's happy-go-lucky nature and Roger's wacked out smile. Thoughts?

I remember people thinking about Raftel might be actually be Rough Tale or something like that. Of course it Raftel (that spelling of it) becomes important later on in the manga, we can trust 4Kid$ will change it to Laughter and make yet another plot hole.
Didn't 4kids already reveal the name of it? I'd thought it would be in the major crap-alo-la "Fantastic Voyage".
Hm..this entire topic is reminding me with the entire "Organization XIII" member names in Kingdom Hearts.

But on topic, the old guy who takes care of Laboon already referred to Raftel as "Rough Tale" (or "Lough Tare" if you prefer).
