Isn't Monster getting a live action movie already? I wonder how much they will be able to fit in and what they will focus on.
-
Well it is getting turned into a L.A. movie let's hope two things happen
1. It's a faithful adaptation.
2. they don't ry and squeeze everything into one movie. -
ashita no joe would be a great live action movie
-
Well, its hard to say. But personally, if its faithful I think a Fullmetal Alchemist Live Action Movie would be pretty good.
-
Out of all that list, Kenshin looks like it could make it the best as a live action movie. Then again, half of the choices on the list I havent seen :P.
-
out of those, JJBA, FMA and Gundam would be the most difficult to do but would be awesome to see if done right.
-
Gundam (series I) could work as a trilogy.
JJBA wouldn't really be that hard since the 1st arc comes off as a throwback to an old horror story, the third one [arc] however would really be tricky.
FMA when I picked choices I kinda forgot that the manga is still ongoing =P so making a movie when taking this into consideration would be kinda dumb.
-
FMA being as hard as Gundam when being made into a LA movie….yea, sure.
-
who said anything about them being equal in difficulty? I know making multiple giant mecha who move the same way that they do in the anime would be really hard (maybe less difficult after the transformers movie comes out) but…no wait, fma wouldnt be that hard. Its just the fact that the cg would be wierd is all, i think, that got me wondering. JJBA series 1 and 2 wouldnt be that difficult but the third series would be tough simply because the cg would have to be really good to pull it off. I have to see how they pull off ryuuku in death note before i pass judgement on this one.

Sort of makes me remember the Power Rangers =P

i meant good looking not cheesy looking. I love mmpr with the best of them but it isnt the most visually impressive show out there.

I know, who in their right mind likes cheesy looking CGI.

Well compared to something like this http://http://www.tv.com/tattooed-teenage-alien-fighters-from-beverly-hills/show/10373/summary.html
It definitely comes out on top
-
i saw that show back in the day when i was in first grade! I cant remember anything other than instead of zords, they stayed in their human forms and just became big.
Anyway, transformers live action will help my ideas on the gundam series receiving any live action treatment. (however, im not much of a gundam fan to begin with except for g gundam (puts on flame armor and prepares to fight))
-
It's not like your the only G Gundam (I hate this) fan here so you really have nothing to fear.
-
G-Gundam is my favorite Gundam.
I would love that as a movie…
but Kenshin would rule. Seriously. Get Christian Nolan to direct. Hes good at analyzing characters backstories. -

Haha, that gave me a nice laugh. But wait…they weren't CG...they were bloody middle aged men cosplaying in hunks of plastic armor...

They are in the show. I thought we were talking about the power rangers movie were they are in cgi

Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, I voted for. Has I seen FMA I would have voted for that too.
If they ever make a Jojo film based on Series 3, they'd have to have a trilogy to fit everything in from the manga.

Why does this has a set date to close?…
(The Poll)
-
Because I was't expecting this thread let alone the poll to get much feedback so my bad for the deadline even if the poll closes you can still discuss anything that relates to the topic in here.
