I am now watching the rumanian sub of Kaliedo Star, and it's a series with lot's of heart, humor and optimism. I like it a lot and not a episode passes where i don't laugh, Jonothan and Fool are too funny.:laugh:
But sadly most of my friends are, why do i watch it? It's for girls and children.
I always tell them to shut up. After Evangelion, Blue Gender, Gundam Seed and all those series with psychological bla,bla,bla and messages of peace, war bad and all that, i was happy to find a series that not unlike One Piece has a simple thing to say, believe in your dreams and never give up.
For those who have seen it what do you think of it?

i really enjoyed watching it and i think i'll name my daughter sora if i have one someday.
the characters are interesting and the training parts are handled well. i didn't laugh that much, though.
i still have the movie to watch.
about people saying it's for girls, what if it is? about people saying it's for children, well, most shounen are much more for children than kaleido star.

I never heard of a movie either, I just thought there was this really weird alternate universe OAV they made about Rosetta the magical girl.
I LOVE this series, it's truly high quality shoujo. My friend and I would wait on bated breath for each new DVD to come out, then promptly watch it and scream like the girls we are. It's good stuff.

a 1,5 hours movie has been released last year. and it's not about rosetta the magical girl.

didn't watch it at all… go it on my pc, but well, too much things to watch. i found the link for the torrent on baka-updates i think. give it a try.

Back when I had cable I watched the first few episodes of the dub on The Anime Network. I thought it was "meh" and stopped watching.
